Captain's Tips Of The Month

Hi as some of you know my name is Chris captain of the AAA Support team on Etsy. I am a vintage seller currently standing at 1057 sales and 5 star reviews on average.

I have learned a lot on Etsy in my time here and have decided to share some of that accumulation of knowledge with my team.

Tips of the month
1. I don't care what the "experts" say the best way to get sales is to keep listing items. The more you list the more exposure you get. You are trying to attract as many eyes as possible if you don't have something for everyone those 11 seconds a buyer uses to decide to buy your item or move on is critical to capture their imagination and therefore a sale.

2. Good Photography
Along the lines of capturing a buyers attention and converting a sale within the normal 11 seconds you must have good, well lit photos!

I can't stress this enough! You should have a nice neutral background.
Good lighting is essential using soft lighting will get the best result.

Feature YOUR product! I see all the time people want to go overboard and take an art shot with a bunch of props and distracting backgrounds. Sure it's pretty but it's not business are you trying to be an artist or make a sale?

Those are my tips for now both will help increase sales. If you have questions feel free to post them and when time permits I will try to help.

Thanks Team!
Chris
