Good Monday morning, everyone!
It's kinda mixed clouds and sun here this morning. I'm really hoping they cut our grass today.
Val, glad to see the B&M is going well. By the way, what are felted soaps???
Holly, sounds like you have a lot on your hands! I hope you're able to handle it! Give a little time for yourself, too, to decompress! I hope you aunt's surgery goes well.
I had more computer problems yesterday, and with my new computer, too. I called Microsoft Office customer support, and they located a Trojan - a virus that's buried deep in the Windows operating system. It wouldn't let me load MS Office. When I called customer support they located the Trojan, plus the fact that 38 people were connected to our internet! There are only supposed to be five devices on our server. The long and short of it is, I had to lay out $150 to have them remove the Trojan, optimize the computer, and install a new form of security software (don't know the name) that goes Norton's Internet Security one step better. Apparently Norton only catches viruses that are 1000 - 1200 bps. The Trojan was 1400. My new software goes up to 4400. So I hope my computer is more secure than ever. Still a major PITA.
Pam is still in special care, because she has fluid on the lungs and is running an infection somewhere. She's had pneumonia twice in the last year, and I hope it isn't raising its ugly head. Her white count is also high, as is her temperature. I spoke with her this morning, and she thinks she's ready to come home. I disagreed. As far as I'm concerned she needs to stay in a psychiatric ward for at least a couple of days, while they start a new medication. Unfortunately the medication can take a few weeks to kick in. I'm hoping to speak with her psychiatrist today to discuss this.
I just spoke to Pam, and they're going to move her to a psychiatric ward today. But she's still got fluid on the lungs and a fever, and I don't really want her transferred until any possible infection is cleared up. They can take care of that better in the special care ward than the psychiatric ward. I have a call into the doctor to call me so we can discuss this.
I'm handling the stress, but just barely. I try and pamper myself by dressing nicely, wearing jewelry, and doing things I enjoy. I'm not overeating, as I've done in the past. I've lost 20 pounds in the past three months and I hope to lose more. But I'm still deeply worried about Pam.
You all know what today is - It's RAK day. Perform some random act of kindness for your teammates. Create a treasury, make a small purchase, fave bomb a shop of ten! Enjoy yourself!
Have a great day, team!
