Wow Mary, that's scary! and awful! I hope that you are having a good night sleep and you are recovering.

Great to see you again Adele! I hope that health wise you are doing fine.

Dona asked about Tweet Eye: "Do you think it would be better to change the items daily but keep them on the Tweet Eye list and just rotate them?" Adele would be the best person to know, but personally that is exactly what I do, I have a list of probably 50 odd items loaded on Tweet Eye and as I don't have it running 24/7, every time I switch it on I activate 10 or so items at random, let them run for a few hours, deactivate them and activate another batch. And I always try and make sure that I go and delete those that have sold! I just think that it gives variety.

Today is my birthday! 46 years young! Happy Birthday to me lol!! I often say that I may be a product of the witches cauldron on Hallowe'en night LOL! Not doing anything special, looks like another dry day and hopefully it'll be a decent day in the shop before they all go back home and back to school on Monday. I may go out for a drink with a couple of friends tonight, dunno, it still doesn't feel right without Paul around, what works best for me on "special" days is to treat them as normal days.

As for Tweet Eye, I am going to do what you are doing. I usually pick 10 listings and let them run for the week but I am thinking that may be too much. When I change them, I see a increase in views, so it makes sense to change more often. I hope I can keep up with these changes.

DeMor, I do not offer discounts in my shop but if you want to try adding 20% discount to some of your tags. You could test this to see if you get more views this way.

Mary, Could you have developed an allergy to antibiotics? I am allergic to penicillin and this did not develop until I was in my 40s. Gosh lady, I hope you are feeling better soon.

I need to get Bailey on her schedule for the time change, this is going to be a rough day on everyone one. She already wants to go to be at 7:30 and this is when it is light out. Yes Charity I agree lots to celebrate today

#1 Rain today, it has only rained once in about 6 months so one inch today is a big deal :)

#2 I got to sleep in until 8 am :)


#3 While reading a email from a customer that is leaving a good review I got a cha-ching on my phone (2 item sale)

#4 not many kids came for trick or treat so we have lots of candy left over and yes I bought the "good stuff" this year My fave is Hersheys with almonds :D

I have had too much trouble with TweetEye so I just rely on Adele the Wonderful.

Enrica, Glen is our expert on Tweeter but I have not seen Glen in a while. I hope everything is well with him. Maybe someone would be able to help Enrica with retweeting your own items. All I know about Tweet Eye and what I learned this far, was with the User Guide. http://tweet-eye.com/userguide.html You should read it all but the area that applies to Etsy or any website starts on page 23. If you follow each piece of information step by step, it should work for you. Also, you will want to install the Java Updater 67 from Oracal, http://download.cnet.com/Java-Runtime-Environment-JRE/3000-2378_4-10009607.html Norton Internet Security 2015 says this website is safe for downloads.

Dona - I have seen Glen on Twitter but not so much over here. I am sure he will reappear soon.

I also can't help much with TweetEye either or the coupons. I rely on Adele for Tweet Eye and hopefully one day I can get faster internet that is not turtle slow to be able to finally have it myself. I saw Adele offering to put two items out on Tweeteye yesterday in chat but had too much to get done around home to post anything.

It actually snowed here quite hard for awhile yesterday. YUCK!! I am very much ready to be done with snow and move South so at least there is less of chances I have to see it or try driving in it with all the dummies who do not think they need to turn on headlights while driving through the heavy snow. Luckily, it did not stay to the ground. Today is much better with sunshine.

Lots to do with my wood stove and finishing an arrowhead dreamcatcher and working with custom orders.

Charity - GROANNNNN! (Better late than never, right?)

Well, I got quite a few items built over the last few days. Got more inventory in. Gotta take some pics, do write ups. I'm going to build my new listings a la "Glen."

My views have dropped WAYYYYYYY down. I guess I don't really care as I'm numb to it all by now anyway. I'm thinking of going back to FeeBay. Scares the heck out of me 'cause I know I'm tying myself to the railroad tracks waiting for the oncoming train.

I get a lot of views from France, but I'm afraid to add them as the USPS seems to hold their mail system in very low esteem.

OK, confession time: Last night is the first time this year that I actually turned the furnace on. It was 56 in the living room and I said to myself, "Self, get your faht arse down there and take out that old, filthy filter and put in a new one and turn the furnace ON." This is the latest in the season I have ever waited this long to turn the furnace on. Usually do it by end of September actually.

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Yes, I have been missing a lot from chat and the game threads. Most of my online effort has gone into supporting Twitter Fever; I have also been spending as much time in the workshop making sawdust and shavings as possible. Today we are with my wife's family celebrating Christmas VERY early.

Dona - it is an honor for your to call me "expert". Thanks! For those of you who are not already aware, Twitter may be the only topic relevant to Etsy where my knowledge is at least comparable to Dona's. When she posts, I listen (OK, I mean READ).

Enrica - To my knowledge, It is not possible for you to RT one of your own posts from the same Twitter account. I think you can RT from another Twitter account if you have more than one account. All of us who are using Tweet Eye have at least two accounts. I have been thinking about RTing my own posts from the other account but have not decided if this is really a good idea or not. I would be interested in what thoughts some of you may have.

Rotating your Tweet Eye posts as Val describes is a very good idea. It can work well if you have Tweet Eye running on your own computer or server. It would be too much to ask of Adele. My five posts on her server have been running for months on end. Views may have gone down some but not substantially. I do a lot of different Tweets manually because I have them on an Excel spreadsheet which makes them easy to copy, paste and Tweet with or without some modification.

I may focus for a day or two on Wine Accessories, then on Jim Beam Pens, then Bullet Pens, Rollerball Pens, and etc. With enough effort I can drive views on an item, a search in my shop (i.e. Jim Beam) or a section (i.e. Wince Accessories, Bullet Pens) into the top five for a day. Usually the top five are those running on Tweet Eye.

Hi everyone. Feeling better today. Thanks for the well wishes, prayers and positive thoughts. I am not so shaky or weak, but still tired. I'm a spunky old gal and don't believe in quitting. I had only been in hospital an hour or so when I started saying I was going home. LOL I hate the ER, as everyone does. Am sending thank you cards to the paramedics and Drs.

Thanks to Dona for taking over my duties for so long. I really appreciate it, as I am just not feeling up to it. I'm hoping I will be back at it soon.

Teal, October never seems to be nice to me. You'd think it would be because it's my birthday month, but not in the last few years. Things will improve and next year October will be an awesome month.
