Good morning, everyone. Welcome to October. This is one of my favorite months of the year. The trees haven't changed yet, which is a little unusual, but they are starting. No brilliant colors yet, which is a bit disappointing. It is supposed to be a marvelous year for color, but maybe not in my neck of the woods. Up north, the forests are ablaze with oranges and reds. Here, golds and browns are more prevalent.

Yesterday's chat was of great help to many. Thank you, Dona for all of your tips and advice.

Today, let's talk about goals. What is your goal for October? I would like to get at least 10 new listings in my shop this month. As far as sales go, I'm not setting any goal for October. I do want to surpass last year's sales by the end of the year, so that is my main goal for the time being.

Hi Mary my goal for this October is too make new item as many as i can and to have a sell for this end of the year. I hope i Can make it but i must have patience. I would love to see those things you mentioned but unfortunately in my country we don't have those, we only have a hot weather in the morning and rain in the afternoon. i would love to travel and tour there. I like to see new places but for now i have to be patient.

Good morning !!

My goal for this month is as well as Mary and Pen to list as much articles as I can.
I have also decided to make a change in my shop and to add new and different things, so, I'm now rushing with this, and making some Christmas stuff.

Here there aren't Autumn signs, as it's still quite hot and have good weather, but hopefully they will arrive soon.

Good morning everybody! Woke up to a wonderful sunrise today, which is always a good start!
My goals? Uhm... need to get going and turn into reality some clock ideas I've got, plus of course I'm hoping for a few sales too! :) I too am waiting for the colours to change, Autumn is my favourite time of the year, so I keep waiting, camera ready!

Morning! My goal for October is to have fun and relax more! This time last year I put far too much pressure on myself that I missed the entire festive season and I so don't want to do that this year!

Good Morning All, I guess my goal would be to get my shop in order. I added my policies today, which should have been the first thing I did. So I'm starting to get to my goal, also I will be at over 100 items before the end of the month. Only about 40 to go. lol
If anyone wants to look at my shop, my policies etc. and see if I am missing anything. I would totally appreciate it. Thanks...Chris

No color change here, but at least it's not in the 90s so much any more. :-) I really do miss the fall colors, though. Really got to finish my Halloween decorations, I'm only half done.

Goals for October? I'd just be happy for a sale. Nothing I do seems to work. I'm also going to get as many listings as possible up. No set number, just as many as I can.

I think it's probably time to start doing a few things for Christmas and the other December celebrations, and a few more things for Thanksgiving. I've been concentrating on Halloween things, but time to shift, I think.

My goal for October- Finish tweaking the rest of my titles and tags. List 50 more items, have all my Holiday items up. Add two more marketing sites and look into some paid advertising.
Once I get my new camera I will also be re taking photos. All in all a busy Etsy month. :)

Good morning everyone! The leaves are very beautiful here in Eastern Canada. The weather has been unusually hot - feels more like August. It was in the mid to high 20's since Saturday. With a record of 28 Celcius (82.4 degrees F)... so not normal.

My goals for October are to make and list one new piece every day.

Good morning from a new member. The leaves are changing here and it is definitely Fall. My October goals to start with include posting more listings (3 in the works right now) and working towards achieving sales for my shop. After my new listings are complete then it is continuing to work on even more new ones and of course improving tags, titles, and SEO to be found.

Good Morning everyone!

I'm sorry to have been among the missing for several days but the beautiful WV campground we enjoyed for four days had no internet access! Here in Ellicott City, MD we are back on the net!

October Goals: continue adding more items with an emphasis on bottle stoppers, complete replacing old photos, continue to improve titles, descriptions and tags.

I hope to set up my traveling shop here today. We will be here for two weeks so I should be able to make some progress on new items. There will be a surprise for those of you with a relationship to Texas.

Good morning Everyone and Welcome to new members.

Mary, I like your thought provoking topics. It gives all of us an opportunity to blow off the dust from our brains. I am happy I was able to extend to the team, what I have learned from others. Always happy to pay it forward.

My goals for October is to stay caught up with orders and try to list and renew something everyday. A good many of my orders are from cross stitchers who seem to work all year long and then order at the last minute. Since most of these are custom frame sizes, I cannot have them premade. So I try to get all my regular orders made and shipped, quickly as possible.

I am tired of my poorly taken photos, so I am taking a photography class on 10/8 to make my photos look more professional. If I learn something from this class, I will certainly share with you. I have a little Cannon Power Shot SX100 IS, I have absolutely no clue what any of this means. My son taught me how to use the zoom on it last year and I was thrilled to learn this. It is a 2 day class for 3 hours each and if I do well, there is an advanced class I might take as well.

I went and got my flu shot yesterday, I learned my lesson last year when I got the flu. The Holiday Season and the flu do not mix. Although, I was able to get my orders shipped and on time. My son and daughter-in-law seem to always be sick and I believe they love to share their cooties.

We have leaves dropping but they are not colorful. I wish I could buy one of those wonderful lawn vaccums but they cost an arm and a leg. I have a leaf blower/sucker but you have to change the bag every 10 minutes. Carrying it on your shoulder gets heavy. I have a shop vac that I use as well and I am wondering if I could just put the shop vac guts over a large garbage can?

Anyway, I have two orders I have to work on today and I have not had a chance to work on some of my fall and Christmas items. So I will be back later to fave your lovely items. Have a great day!

I make mosaic and fused glass goodies. I also own a preschool and love to feature etsy shops on my blog. But, my best news....wait for it.... Is I am waiting on a new grand baby! My daughter in law is due any day!! Woooohooooo! Over the moon here in Eastern Oregon!
