Good morning team!

I can't believe it that another month has come to an end... Yep, time really does fly!

How has your May been? Sales wise, mine has been poor. In April I had close to 3000 views and 16 sales, in May over 4100 views and 8 sales. Either people are just window shopping but not buying clocks and watches at this time of the year, or these tests are indeed somehow affecting me. Maybe it's a mixture or both, there is no way of knowing. Hopefully June will be a better month!

Hello my team mates,

We are sitting at the Ft. Myers airport, waiting for our flight back home to Minneapolis.

Glen - have a great and safe trip to Alaska!

May was actually pretty good with 7200 views and 18 sales (+ 3 none Etsy sales). Very similar to last month with 6200 views and 13 sales (similar revenue).
We (my wife and I) having our second art show tomorrow - we will see how that goes.

Good evening All,

I've had just one sale in May but one is better than none!

While I've been doing the Etsy SEO school through May I've deliberately stopped playing team games to see what would happen to my statistics. Interestingly views have risen slightly and the percentage of views coming from search and the jewellery browse sections has more than doubled. Make of that what you will. I've decided to give Etsy my best shot for twelve months - taking me to mid Jan next year - and probably shut up shop if I'm not covering my costs. For me jewellery making is a hobby, I'd like for sales to cover the costs of materials etc and at present that is a long way from happening and the work involved in photos, listing etc is very, very time consuming.

Caroline your midsummer festivities sound brilliant, we had our maypole dancing on the spring bank holiday at the beginning of May. Two months of daylight sounds pretty alarming though as I'm a bit of a night owl. What is it like through the winter?

Mugen Hillary I love your photo above with the chive flowers (at least I think they're chive), the colours are stunning.

Lagney, I understand. It is a lot of work running an online shop. I wonder if it is worth it myself. But I am plodding along and trying the recommended tips. We will see.

And not to sound like I am bragging lol, but I just got my second sale for the day. First time to get two sales in one day for me, so excited! Although I need to calm down so I can go to sleep...gotta go to work tonight.

May has been a good month as far as sales, although the views and favs are lower than last month. I had 9 sales this month, which is the most in one month since I opened the shop in November. I am waiting for the new tweeteye version to come out so that I can try it. The current version still is not working. I am looking forward to the views and possible sales it will provide!

Lagney - It is really amazing with so much light. But it kind of screws up your sleep. Today the sun will start to go down at 21.45 (dark around 22,30-23,00) and the sun is up at 03.54 in my city. That means it doesn't really get dark more than about 3-4 hours now, and in the middle of June even though the sun goes down where I live it doesn't really get dark. For the winter, it's darkness instead of light, so it's less than fun, you go to school/work when it's dark outside and when you come out in the afternoon it's dark again! Up in the north of Sweden the sun doesn't go up for about a month or so in December/January. So if you like darkness, go to north Sweden around that time haha.

Thank you Candi, yes 50 is a big one, I hope you manage to reach that goal soon too, then the next is the 'magic' 100! Now that I'm really excited about reaching lol! And congratulations on your first 2 sales in one day :) that's a fabulous achievement!!
Val and Lagney thanks again for the World Cup booties idea and feedback, I have come up with a plan, it involves football themed booties instead of countries and flags as these will sell better all year round (I hope!) and they should hopefully be listed in the next couple of days :)
Adele congrats on the sheer amount of views and sales, those figures are phenomenal, and they make mine look a little pathetic in comparison, but I'm happy anyway lol!
My May views are tons higher than April, at 2304 compared to just 721 and faves are also up, despite not really participating in any fave games regularly at 2843 compared to 1798. I've also had 2 sales this month compared to none April, and one of those was a custom order :) Definitely happy with the increases, and looking forward to building on them for next month, in which my main goal will be with twitter and tweet eye etc as Adele's help has really increased my views. The other thing that's helped is listing 1 item everyday instead of bulk listing, my relevancy has increased dramatically leading my hits from search to increase from 27 last month to 154. Next month I plan on trying to keep listing an item at least every other day if not every single day.

Anyway here's today's listing, was slightly worried if overpriced them until I did a quick search and there are plenty more higher prices so that's good :)
