The week end is here again, and that's when I go back to work, the weather has finally improved a bit, lets hope there'll be few week enders around willing to part with their money :))

Sara, you mentioned views yesterday. Funnily enough, yesterday was my best day of the week for views, without using Tweet Eye. I second Mary: it's up and down all the time, and there is no way of knowing why. The same goes for sales, February was appalling for me while March is proving to be better, whilst I have read that for some of you is the opposite.

I have learned that in retail there is no rhyme nor reason, whether online or with a brick and mortar. I'll never forget 2 particular days in my gifts shop 3 Summers ago, Paul was "on duty" on those 2 days, same weather, same amount of people around. On the first day he probably had a total of 4 customers and the takings were some of the lowest of the year. The following day he had a record day and the till hardly stopped ringing. We never figured out why.

As far as I know Etsy are still testing search, only their techs know how algorithms work and how we get found on a daily basis. For all we know, stats may have a glitch some days and they don't reflect the true figures. As usual, I'm just speculating LOL.

Do you all see experience these ups and downs with views?

It's Pi day! 3.1415....

Val, my views have also been weird. Yesterday they were back up to normal, whereas a view days ago there were 100 fewer views. Go figure. Maybe Etsy corrected a bug, or stopped futzing around with whatever they were futzing. Who knows? Of course, next to last year, this year's views have been phenomenal. Last year I'd be lucky to get 10 views and 2 faves a day.

I have a quick question. Yesterday I had 1 view that was from the "Etsy Home Page". What does that mean?? I didn't think there was a front page anymore. Has this happened to anyone else?

February was a bust for me, and I've only had one sale so far this month. Here's hoping there will be more in the near future.

Val, yes indeed, views are so mysterious. I had a great day yesterday, but it's up and down for sure. When I look at my views, I am only looking at my search views number as everything else can be inflated, and my search views are all over the place lately.

Alanna, your items are on many home pages including mine ;) It means someone clicked on your item or shop from their activity feed.

Yesterday wasn't a good day for sales, but can't complain. I had a good week. I hope this trend continues throughout March.

My views were really down yesterday. Today will be what it is. Not great at the moment, but not as bad as yesterday.

Freezing cold today,not many people around, still early days though, I'll start panicking in a few weeks if footfall doesn't improve haha! Blake is doing fine Mary, thanks! He's now on medications for his arthritis, he's as happy as he can be and always eager to get in the car to come to the shop with me, I've never seen anybody so excited to go to work in my entire life LOL!

Views are pretty low again today, there again all it takes it's one view from the right person and bang! There you have a sale! Feeling optimistic I suppose lol.

I am playing with the idea of bringing back an old thread in place of our Front Page Push. Below is a description of the thread tell me what you guys think..

I will randomly pick an item from a team member. What I want everyone to do is push that item until it sells. Facebook,Pintrest,favorite,tweet,wanelo,treasure...

Anything you can think of. Then post the link of the tweet,wanelo,pin etc below to have a chance for your item to be the next team effort item to be pushed until it sells!

My views have been up and down and sales have come to a halt. I have been steadily working on anything I can to change that. No resolution yet either as to why all my interactions have disappeared. I have asked in bugs and apparently mine are not the only ones that have disappeared. Hopefully they will reset it or something soon.

Wanted to stop by and introduce myself. received a great welcoming email from Captain Chris.I just opened my etsy shop less than 2 weeks ago. Trying to get it off the ground and do all the right things.
