Very early start today (6.00am here), got to catch my train to the airport at 7.30, thank goodness for coffee, what would I do without!!

As I won't have time to do much on Etsy today, the last couple of days I've drafted two treasuries for today's RAK featuring team mates . I'm trying to feature different team mates every time, I'll never cease to be amazed by the talent and the great vintage to be found in this team!

Good morning Lagney and Linda.

I worked through my shop yesterday trying to work on tags, titles, the keywords in the stats to get things to pick back up again. Not noticing any change as of yet but hopefully soon. If not, I will try again in hopes it helps out. Just feels like my sales have come to a complete screeching halt and the more I promote and work on it, the more it comes to a stand still. Hopefully soon something will change.

I had a job interview this morning. They are looking for someone that speaks Dutch, is available right now and is motivated. I fit the profile 100%. I am waiting now for the phone call, they said they would phone me back today or tomorrow. In these circumstances it would be very weird if I do not get the job, but it still makes me feel a bit tense...

I am also up earlier that normal. Lily, our cat was licking us which means she wants something, this early it's "Feed me!" We are her servants, you know.

Val - great job on the treasuries. They have been Viewed, Faved, Commented, Pinned and Tweeted with #EtsyAAA hashtag.

Linda - I do searches to evaluate tag, title and description changes. On Etsy the impact is pretty quick. On Google you have to be patient; it may take a few days, those web crawlers are slow. Ha Ha.

No new listings today but the shop will be up and running later so there may be some new items soon.

Not much going on today. We went to the casino on Saturday for my mother's birthday. We weren't all that impressed...confused was more like it LOL. Oh well, now we can at least say that we've been.

Only made $8 at the craft show. If it wasn't for a good cause, I think I would've packed up a lot earlier than I did. I'm probably not doing it again next year. I knew it wasn't a juried show and direct sales were allowed, but there was one person there selling insurance. Seriously?

Next show is April. I think one show a month at the moment is good enough for me, get my feet wet.

Speaking of wet feet, it's raining AND snowing here today.

Yesterday I broke a piece off my embroidering machine -- off the shank that holds on the presser foot. And we've had a couple of inches of snow and the roads haven't been plowed, so I probably won't go to Joanne's to look for a replacement. Which means no embroidering today.

I'll work on the computer instead, assigning colors to about 30 - 40 designs. That's part of my process. Each design is colored, but for a different brand of thread. So I have to go through the thread I have to find corresponding colors. That can take anywhere from 15 minutes to half an hour for each design, depending on the complexity of the design. That'll keep me busy, lol. But it'll be fun, because I have a new type of thread, with 166 colors to play with, instead of just 50. That means I can be more subtle in my use of color.

Jeannie, I am with you on the Casino, I could not see what all the hype is all about and why you would want to lose money doing it. That could just be me talking.

Glen, Thanks for the heads up about keyword postioning on the tags. I changed a few of my items and found some of my items on the first page. I love how Etsy keeps changing things and we get to do all the non stop work to make our shops keep up with their changes. I wish they would come up with a way I could make my frames faster and still be a quality product. Congratulations on the front page honor. Someone say they saw my shop on their front page but when I went to check it out, it was not on mine. At least I am showing up and I am okay with that.

Alanna, I am sorry you broke a part off your machine. I have been know to do that myself but usually it means I have to buy a new machine. I guess you do not have another presser foot you can use in place of it? Well at least your time will not be wasted and you can stay in and keep warm.

Well, the weather yesterday was more ice than snow, so yeah for that but my husband is out there scraping off the snow so the ice will melt. At least he did not have to go to work in this mess. the 7 to 9 inches of snow predicted did not even make it to 2" and I am happy about this. I imagine when all this winter weather is over, I bet people will go out and say out of the house and I do not blame them.

Have to work on a frame and my tags today. I am also going to play with my fabric flowers again. I think I have watched almost every tutorial on YouTube. Have a Great Day Everyone!

Dona, the presser foot is fine. It's the part that holds the presser foot in place that broke. I'm not sure it's the kind of piece they carry in stock, which means further delay if it has to be ordered. Oh well.

Morning all! I have already completed a few RAK, and will do more later. Its been an interesting day so far, with my lack of sleep last night, to there being squirrels in the ceiling at my day job, (and we are on the 2nd floor of a 3 story building, imagine that!). I am not sure how much I will get one on etsy today, but I have downloaded the Twitter app to my phone, and plan to be a bit more active with the tweets and retweeting. Speaking of tweeting, as soon as I finish this post, if I can get enough signal in this building I will do a few retweets.

DONA, Mom is doing okay. She can get around by herself really well. We got her a walker so she can get from room to room easily without fear of falling. She had to call this morning for a follow up appointment later in the week. She's a feisty old gal. LOL Not much keeps her down.

Having a crazy day. Woke up to see we had made two sales overnight, and then now we're working hard to create a line sheet because we had our first ever (and totally unexpected and unprepared for) request for wholesale. We're not even sure they'll actually make a purchase, but we're excited about the request anyway! Any advice would be greatly appreciated as far as wholesale goes!

Also, I'm frustratingly stuck in the test for the new layout, so I'm missing banners terribly. I'll be incredibly sad to see them go if Etsy decides to take that route.
