Wow, quiet day today! I sooorrrtta did my trade today. I did everything except send the item off. I want to have an email from her saying when she's sending hers before I send mine off. Aside from her being VERY slow at correspondence I'm pretty pleased with the trading experience :) I think I'd do it again! It was nice to know what sorts of things are appealing in my shop (since we discussed items to trade before hand) and I got my pick of things from her shop as well, which was cool.

I also sold one of my all time favorite necklaces today! I'll be sad to see it go but I'm pretty happy it's going at the same time. Not because of the money, although that's nice too.lol. But because I started doubting my style...thinking I'm too flashy or too bold (especially with the comments from my friend asking if I actually like my own stuff).lol. Overall a good day!!

I'm so glad daily chat is back!!! Sorry folks, I just couldn't scroll through gazillions of pages and comments.

Congrats on the sale Krystal!!! Things seem kind of slow in my shop. I just figured it was Holiday fatigue, or tax-mageddon looming on the horizon.
Local sales are down also.
Although.... Mountain Girl continues to diversify, going to start teaching some beginner painting classes in 2 weeks! So fun. (and a little cash in my pocket).

Wish I could teach classes! I've got no place to do it as I couldn't in my home with my grandma and mom here. Happy you are finding more ways you can diversify.

Just passed the day painting the cup for the silent aunction charity. Tired. 8h on a cup. Woa!
Got *attacked* again by the *well-intended brigade* trying to convince me I should stop creating, I waste my money and energy. I wish clicking my fingers will make a zipper on their lips. Then all you hear is mmmm mm mmm!

No worry, I never take the *well-intended brigade* seriously. Though they are real PITA. It gave me a creative idea I am working on;) Maybe it will fly. And then again, maybe people will just take the idea and I'll be stuck with the stuff. Worth to try.
Besides, either it is the NAmerican culture or just WCanada, but I'm pretty sure the naggIng *get serious, stop doing art* conversation(or rather imposed monolog since I do not reply or interact:they talk) Hevery artist has it.
I'll reveal later for my idea.
