Top Seller?!
Only in my dreams. I' ve just started and i'm hoping it will get better. But I will appreciate if you visit my Shop and give me some help, tips to do better
Thanks and have a good night.
I think many of us have been invited to the Top Seller forum who aren't exactly "killing it" with sales yet. [smile] Perhaps the intent is to help people achieve that? Not sure.
I did have a look at your Shop. Well done! The scarves are beautiful.
There is one bit of advice I've been sharing, that was given to me by Etsy Help personnel. That is: mind your Titles, Descriptions, Keywords. It matters tremendously in Search Results. Your titles should be written so that any potential Buyer can see within the first 30 characters what your item is. The title gets cut off at that point and a Buyer would have to either hover over the partial title to read all of it (which I'm not convinced many people know they can do) or click over to read the entire Listing, thereby creating a "View".
I have tweaked and re-tweaked my Titles until items that were getting zero Views, now have a few. Some even have been Favorited! So, I know it works.
In your case, rather than referring to your scarves as "cloth" (which I don't think Buyers would search for if they are looking for a knitted or crocheted scarf), your Title for such an item might read: "Open Weave Crocheted Scarf|Cotton & Wool Blend Yarn|Hand Crafted|168x84cm Triangular Shape|Yellow Ombre" I don't usually put the color at the beginning of the Title because a Buyer can see what color it is by the picture. But, the color does matter in overall Search Results.
Repeat some of the main Keywords in your Description and also in your Keyword selection when you create the listing (where Etsy gives you up to 13 Keywords to attach to it).
I purposely began my Etsy Shop with only 20 listings until I could figure out how the website's algorithms work and make sure my items are at least appearing in potential Buyers' searches. It's far easier to work & rework 20 listings than hundreds. Now that I believe I am getting better results, I will begin to list more items.
And that's another thing I've noticed about the Etsy Shops with the largest amount of sales: they have 900 or more items listed at any given time. A lot, yes? I can only hope to build my Shop to that point - I'm also a one woman operation and to make, photograph, and list that many things will be a monumental achievement. But...I'll figure it out.
Good Luck!
Thanks for your Help. I'll try if changing the titles will help.

Thanks for the add, I do not feel I am a top seller by any means but I will be one day!
