★ What is "Product Innovation" all about?

The start of the answers are:

(1) Product Innovation is for the most part not "invention" even those these two words "innovation" and "invention" look alike and seem to be alike.

Thomas Edison (the creator of the electric light bulb and more) was an inventor. He said "I tried 10,000 ways that did not work and 1 that did work."

This is a key business principle that of identifying "what works" and "what does not work" and said another way "it take many failures to discover one success"

(2) Consider Innovation perhaps as a "short cut process" to Invention.

Find products that work and better yet in my opinion find what I call "piggy-back" products that work. Where?

www.CraftCount.com is a great place to find Etsy sellers who are selling the highest number of sales in their products.

Seek out "Creative Products"

Seek out "innovative Products"

Seek out "Creative & Innovative Products"

Pause to meditate or just do some soft, esty, dreaming, and thinking and wow how about this?

"Creative Products" becomes "Creative & Innovative Products"

Our soon to be our new team name; thank you!

Zig Ziglar in one of his presentations (actually in many of his presentations) quoted from studies that "the human brain has the computing power of a computer the size of the Empire State Building in NYC." Believe it or not.

Did you know there is part of our human minds that as a need to be creative? And, a part of our human minds that seems to want to innovate? It's true; believe it or not.

Zig Ziglar's comment continued . . . "A computer the size of the Empire State Building and just imagine its cost! Yet, the huge computer cannot produce a single creative thought!"

You and I when we first "give ourselves permission to" can dream and create and make so very much!

Walt Disney in his economical one bedroom apartment saw a mouse . . . this tells us how economical his one bedroom apartment was. Walt Disney's most famous quote "If you can dream it; you can do it."

Founder of the Ford Motor company, Henry Ford, shared this thought: "If you think you can, or you think you can't. You're right!"

Unleash the POWER of your creative mind . . . Unleash the POWER of your innovative mind . . . Give yourself your full permission to do so . . . Give yourself your full permission to make mistakes (and learn from each one too) . . . Give yourself the respect you deserve (and respect all others too) . . .

What will happen to Etsy? Does anyone really know at this time? Follow the news here: https://www.etsy.com/teams/8192/creative-products/discuss/18365252/page/1?ref=team_page

A USA business needs to focus on pleasing its owners. A worker needs to focus on pleasing her/his boss.

While the Etsy Chaos continues . . . let's focus on innovation and creation of products that shoppers are looking to buy!

How does QVC.com and QVC TV innovate products that everyone else sells and some at lower prices than they do?

(1) The best and most complete product descriptions anywhere online and on TV too!

(2) Color Variations . . . Whenever they can they have manufacturers make the original in several popular colors for exclusive QVC selling! This is simple innovation at work!

Rule #1 for Success at Innovation --- lose your fear of posting here on our discussions about product enhancement, product innovation, and product benefits too!
