Fees for Selling on Etsy and Pattern

Listing an item $0.20 USD each Listings expire after four months
Selling an item 3.5% of the selling price. This does not include any shipping or tax rates you may charge. This will be changing to 3.0% + $0.25 per item.

[Yes, you do pay on your shipping fees too. Some have thought they should not over Free Shipping because this would raise the price and cost them more in payment fees.]
Payment processing fees appear in your payment account and are deducted prior to deposit. They will not appear on your Etsy bill. Payment processing fees are in addition to Etsy's transaction fees.
If you issue a refund for a sale made through Etsy Payments, your payment processing fee will be credited proportionally and applied to the refund amount.
