Etsy has listened . . . .

https://www.etsy.com/teams/7716/announcements/discuss/18231245/

Since then we’ve been listening to your feedback and have heard that while buyers love the ability to check out from multiple shops in one transaction, sometimes they want to just purchase one of the items in their cart at a time. We’ve made some adjustments so now buyers will be able to select “Check out only from this shop” in the cart. This new option is now available to all buyers. Buyers are also still able to check out from all shops in one purchase by clicking the orange “Proceed to checkout” button in the cart.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us and for being an active part of the Etsy community!

Wow, this is really good attitude with this announcement post!

Re: Etsy has listened . . . .

The 2 movies . . . "The Flight of the Phoenix" . . . black & white and then color . . .

Against all odds and with dim hope these people who fought for leadership and ended up following a "model plane" engineer . . . were able to take flight again and arise from the desert wilderness to safety . . .

Wow, this is really good attitude with this announcement post! Etsy listens and in appreciating feedback and for members being an active part of the Etsy community too . . . I think Josh Silverman is inspiring his team to really put sellers first like he said in his announcement!

Etsy's potential is there. Just needs more WE thinking and less ME thinking.

Together
Everyone
Achieves
More

Humility and Seeking First to Understand can triumph over Arrogance so that those who "steadfastness in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success" AKA "tenacity" and "the quality or fact of being able to grip something firmly" or in just one word "grip" or in a phrase "hold fast to" . . .

I feel a hope now . . . a likelihood . . . "a glass half full" . . . perhaps "a way for Etsy to emerge into something even better than before" . . .

"The Flight of the Etsy Phoenix" . . . maybe a movie in the works?

A key to surviving is to "lower one's expectations" as this will "calm the spirit or person" and help us get a good grip on what might very well be a much better Etsy future!

For our Etsy Products . . . mixing our "creativity" with our "innovation" may provide us with products Etsy shoppers are looking to buy!

In another thread "Margareta" put it this way: "When I first heard about Etsy they had a very good reputation for creative and qualitative handmade items of all kind. People was looking at the shops just for the pleasure of seeing unique craft."

Let's consider Margareta's wisdom . . .

"a very good reputation" . . . "for creative and qualitative handmade items of all kinds"

"People was looking at the shops just for the pleasure of seeing unique craft."

When we merge together our "creative" and our "innovative" thinking often we in time come up with something "new and refreshing and better too" . . .

Idea?

Take one or two of your products and gently think of some different beneficial uses for it . . . often shoppers are looking for something and see a product and say "Wow, I can use this for doing what I have been wanting to do."

Your thoughts; please!

Thank you.
