Make this a fun "hobby" style game! Enjoy the reciprocal promotion too!

Each member creates and curates 1 treasury from the other 16 shops that will be listed here from the sign up sheet here. This means there will be a total of 17 shops. If you welcome this then please add your shop to the list so that you can play. There are no fees required. Just reciprocation of being featured.

➽ Don't sign up for this if you have no intention of creating your treasury, it's not fair to everyone else.

➽ There are 17 spots available--Once all spots are filled, create a treasury from one item from each of the other 16 shops (skip yours).

➽ Again DO NOT sign up if you’re not planning on creating a treasury!

➽ View and FAVE the treasury, Comment, and Like the treasury on Facebook with your comment. Then click on each listing in the treasury and FAVE each shop, the listing, and 4 additional listings in the shop. Like the Shop on Facebook.

Pardon me, please. Actually, now would be a great time to start creating and curating your treasury of 16.

One of Etsy's greatest benefits to sellers and to buyers too is the Etsy Treasury!

My target goal for our Happy Treasury team (& Listings, too) is to grow our reciprocity with each other.

This thread and treasury promotion is NOT COMPETIVE rather it is CO-OPERATIVE. We are doing a treasury co-op which means we co-operate and help each other become the best we can be at doing treasuries.

I understand many have been annoyed at our recent A/B testing stuff by Etsy. I submitted my suggestions to Etsy as likely you did too.

As we do this treasury; let's all work together and share ideas on how to make each of our treasuries better and promote better too.

Which item/listing will it be best to chose from each shop?

My thinking:

View the shop; FAVE the shop while there.

Change the "Galley View" (on the right) to "List View"

Viewing "List View" identify a listing with a high number of views.

EXAMPLE for my treasury:

402 Views and 107 Faves

I just added this listing to my treasury titled "Happy Treasury Team's Top Views"

Why this strategy?

I believe VIEWS means more to SALES than FAVES do. Views only register when someone actually views the listing. Faves can be hearted without visiting the listing.

402 views already means a lot are interested in this listing. Thus, I am promoting what already is most popular.

I choose this for its high number of views and one thing very, very smart about the listing title:

"Embellished wood Picture frame for "Dad & Me" Father's Day or Birthday Gift"

Dad's day has past yet it is still a great idea for another special day. Now, I don't know if Cathy did this originally or added this later? Yet, if one has a title featuring a special day and that day goes by why not with a tiny amount of work make it good for another day?

I have been told by restaurant owner's that Valentine's Day now is a busier day than Mother's Day. My thinking Valentine's Day is only one day. Maybe, could be for the Season of Hearting/Romancing to cover a few months.

"Edit" is one of the best, and most underused features we have on Etsy; yet, with this said best to edit for a real purpose, too.

Maybe click on the number so all those who Faved will appear.

Then what could you do?

Do not spam them with convos. Rather, maybe consider Faving the shop if they have a shop; faving the top row of 4 listings, and/or follow too?

Think like a shopper and choose the listings for your treasury and move to to say "add this to my cart"
