I have been selling on Etsy for almost two years now. At first I had a few sales, I feel like I would have had more if I could have made time to build up inventory. Sells got really slow a few months in and I slowly lost interest in Etsy. I sold more at craft shows and in the few stores I have product in.
Recently (last month) I decided to give it another shot and I began putting more and more product on Etsy. It is difficult because I sell at so many different places and shows to keep up with what is online -I am constantly taking things off that have sold elsewhere which gets frustrating and feels like a waste of time to even put anything online.
So far, I have not had any sales. Despite my promotion, facebook, teams, and anything else that I have tried, I cannot seem to turn the views and likes into profit.
I am hoping that it just takes more time and patience. However, I notice that other people are not having the trouble that I am even if they have only recently opened a shop. Perhaps it is just my product?
Anyway, I have typed all of this to say that it just takes the right person to come along and truly love the product. All I can offer is that just keep trying to get your business out there -maybe you just haven't reached that "right" customer yet.
Good luck and I hope the best for you and your shop!
