Welcome to the Guild of Artistic Temperament! We are a virtual community of artists and makers from around the UK. Formerly known as Craft Britannia, the Guild grew from a response to some of the issues that small creative business owners suddenly faced during Covid – in particular – being unable/feeling unsafe to sell in person at craft fairs.
In 2020, for the first time, Etsy held their annual seller’s event online, and while our sister Etsy Team: IDEAS Birmingham took part, we wanted to be able to include sellers outside of Birmingham & the West Midlands at a time of need.
The IDEAS Birmingham team decided to hold our own online fair, when Etsy stopped doing Etsy Made Local. This experience was so positive that it led us to want to be even more inclusive and allow us to invite more online maker friends, not just those local to Birmingham, to join forces with us. Thus – The Guild of Artistic Temperament was born!
Who can join this team?
As this is a location-based team, we ask that only sellers within the UK apply. We are only accepting people with a shop that has identified their shop location as in the UK on their shop home. Please make sure before that before you apply, you have filled out your shop location.
