      Etsy giving shorter/inaccurate estimated delivery times
                       

      I have noticed in the past few weeks that a lot of my orders have been flagging as 'may arrive late' when purchasing labels. I thought perhaps this was a weird glitch but after sending out order status updates to all outstanding order customers today, it has become apparent that Etsy are giving our customers shorter estimated delivery dates than what we have input into the system which is causing a lot of unhappy customers and stress for me having to manage their expectations. Not good at such a busy time!! Is this some kind of glitch or are Etsy giving shorter estimated times on purpose? I have reported this issue on chat today and asked for it to be looked into but honestly, I don't have much faith in the chat system so thought I would also put it on here. It would be good to know if others are having the same issue. I'm now losing money as I feel I need to placate customers by upgrading their shipping in the hope they get their orders in time and it's causing a lot of stress. Just waiting for the bad reviews to come in and I've worked so hard to maintain Star Seller all year :-( If someone at Etsy sees this - please, please look into this and help us sellers out!!       Open Order List Incorrect - Open Orders are not on the list.

      The open order list on my computer does not show all my open orders. Two specific orders made yesterday are not in my order list. They do show up as "sold out" in listings one today and one yesterday, but not in open orders. And when I search the name of the buyer, the order shows up. But not when I look at all my orders. There is also a specific open order where the buyer sent us a message to change their mailing address. We added a note to the order to make the change yesterday. It does not show up in our open orders either, I've updated the pages, signed out and signed back in, shut down my browser, tried it in Chrome and Safari and shut down and restart the computer. They also do not show up on another computer. However, they do show up on the mobile app on my phone. The number of open orders listed on the mobile app is different than the number of open orders on the full application on the computer. Any help?

      Multiple Shops Completely Gone from Search Since Nov 6 - Need Answers from Etsy Team

      I'm writing this because I've seen many sellers posting about the same issue over the past week, and none of us are getting any real answers. Here's what's happening: Since November 6th, shops are disappearing from search. Views drop to almost zero. This is hitting established shops with years of good history, good metrics, no violations. Multiple sellers have reported the exact same pattern: it started November 6-7, putting shop in Vacation Mode temporarily fixes it for 24 hours, then it happens again. Same timeline, same workaround, same shops affected. Nobody knows what's causing it. Support tickets get generic responses or go days without updates. We're left checking our shops every morning, not knowing if we'll be visible or not. Toggling Vacation Mode daily to appear in search (personally I'm concerned if doing this will affect the shop in ranking in longterm as well). Running a business in this type of uncertainty is not fun. Technical issues happen, we understand that . What's actually concerning is having no information at all . Is this a known bug? Is someone working on it? Will it keep happening? Should we expect a fix? We have no idea because nobody is telling us. For many of us, this is an important source of income. It's peak season, and the not knowing is as real as the bug itself. You can't plan, you can't adapt, because you don't know what's going on and how many times it will happen again in the future. What we need: Just clear communication. Even if it's "we're investigating and don't have a timeline yet", it's better than silence. We need to know someone sees this, someone is working on it as we speak. If you're going through this too, please add your experience below so that we bump this thread. When did it start? What are you seeing? Have you gotten any actual information from support? Maybe if enough of us share what's happening, we can at least get acknowledgment that this is real and being looked at. EDIT (thanks to NorseKids for the insight): After further analysis, it's important that we use the right technical term for this situation. While we've been using the term "de-indexing" (which is what happens only at the surface), it's more accurate to describe this as a "Total Search Invisibility" issue . Our listings are still indexed (they can be found using the search bar inside our own shops), but a glitch in the public search algorithm is making them invisible in general searches. This distinction is important as it will let the Etsy Technical Team know what is actually happening to the shops affected.

      Lost all daily visits-Algorithm change?

      Can anyone tell me why my 6,500 daily visits, according to Etsy Stats, dropped to 20 a day? I have tried contacting Etsy for a call back. The most I have been able to do is leave emails, which no one answers. I'm shocked and really upset that Etsy doesn't care about the sellers and I have lost all my holiday traffic. All I've built through daily maintenance is gone. Moaning in Minnesota.

      Ability to show/ download all listing stats at once not just 5 at a time

      I'd like to be able to view & download all listing stats at once instead of 5 at a time. Apparently if when you click on a column to sort it sorts the 5 listings that it shows, not your entire listings. If I select the 'all time' time period and then the revenue column I expect to see total revenue for all times over the time existince of my shop not the revenue for just the 54 listing that are being displayed. The data download feature doesn't seem to have fields for statistics. If there's a way to do this I haven't found it. Seems easy enough but in today's world of dumbed down web page support / tools maybe it's not.

      Dynamic Pricing??

      All of the European countries I ship to are currently set at £3.80 postage. Why, then do the prices I see Etsy showing range from £3.80 (only 1 country, Norway) all the way up to £6.00?? Every European country has the same shipping price in my profiles. Where does this extra money go? Why should I lose potential sales because my shipping prices (& times) are being manipulated higher than I set without my consent? You would think the prices we set are the prices buyers see. I've had another technical issues post deleted by Etsy after it was approved & am still awaiting an email response after providing evidence of the issue 6 days ago. How are we supposed to get assistance when both avenues of communication lead nowhere??

      Can't reopen a shop

      I opened a second shop on the 19th of September. I uploaded product and then for health reasons I decided to temporarily close the shop. I did not delete the shop. I'd now like to reopen it but everything I've tired as gotten me nowhere. I can sign into my second shop, but I do not see the shop icon, i.e., the image of the little shop, next to where I can sign in. This leads me to believe that my shop is indeed closed. I simply can't find a way to reopen my shop. I have tried everything Etsy has suggested on the site to reopen it, but to no avail, and apparently the option to get a callback no longer exists.       Message response rate listed as "--%" for days now

      Don't know if it had a figure before but it's been stuck on "--%" for at least a few days now. Haven't received any messages so maybe the system is throwing up that error but surely, unless I fail to respond to a message (even if I don't receive any messages), my rating should be 100%?
