Shop Improvement Task #1
In order to get the most sales possible, our shops need to be the best possible. They should make such a good first impression that we get sales without having to play games or beg people to buy our items - almost as if our shops sell themselves. In order to do that we need to focus on improving our shops. This can often be a boring and ongoing task (especially when shop rules change) so I decided to turn shop improvements into a game. I'm going to post a shop improvement task (aka SIT) and if at least 3 members complete it I will post another one.
REPLY FORMAT:
When you have completed a task, please post a reply with the follow 3 pieces of info:
The word "COMPLETED" or "NOT COMPLETED BECAUSE _____" (sometimes there will be valid reasons why you can not complete a SIT and that's OK)
URL: [post the URL related to the shop improvement task here] or N/A (sometimes posting a URL might not be relevant to the SIT)
⭐⭐⭐ (copy the 3 gold stars and paste them in your reply, you deserve gold stars for your hard work)
Then after the gold stars you can add anything else you want to your reply. Easy enough? Now let's get started with the first SIT:
SHOP IMPROVEMENT TASK (SIT) #1:
Our best first impressions are the first pictures in our listings. Customers look at them and immediately judge them and decide if they want to buy our items or look elsewhere. Look at your active listings, find a listing over 3 months old (that way you've had time to gather data with the original pic) that has very low or no sales and replace the first image. Easy peasy. You can take a new pic or just swap the pic for another one, but make sure whatever pic you choose it follows the picture requirements (https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/115015663347) so you can get a higher search ranking. Happy improving. I can't wait to see the URLs and see what everyone has done!

⭐⭐⭐
I'll start the challenge off: Not my best pics, but it's waaay better than my old pics. I actually went beyond and replaced all 20 pics in the listing as I realized my older listing had pics that were edited to meet the old pic requirements and now they don't meet the new requirements and lower my search ranking. Ugh! I gotta retake half my listing pics, but at least this one is done!
