Etsy Insights: Fresh home decor trends
Hi there. I’m Audrey, and I work on Etsy’s Editorial team, where I research and write trend content for Etsy sellers. Spring is all about refreshing, so I’m excited to share some home decor trends we’re tracking for the season and beyond. They’re ripe for your unique interpretation, and perfect for shoppers looking to spruce up their spaces.
Home decor trends to watch
Natural comforts
Shoppers seeking a sense of calm are gravitating towards soothing neutral shades, organic shapes, and sustainable materials. They’re trading pale woods for warmer tones, celebrating plant life in all forms (from live greenery to dried flowers and botanical prints), and welcoming imperfect surfaces.
Grownup gradients
Ombrė aesthetics have continued to evolve over the past decade (we’re looking at you, tie-dye!). Now we’re seeing a shift towards otherworldly gradients, applied to everything from large-scale wallpaper and art to decorative objects, textiles, and accent pieces. The dreamy blend of tones from light to dark mesmerizes shoppers with its suggestion of futuristic escape.
Mood-boosting accents
Shoppers are looking to brighten their spirits with undeniably cheerful home furnishings and decor, proving bold statements can come from pieces big and small. Larger items like light fixtures and rugs anchor and energize a room, while accents like mirrors, vases, and wall art pepper a space with personality.

I have cerebral palsy and make many items.. the link i put to show nautical trend is my anchor wreath however my whole shop is nautical

·4 years agoI prepared new throw pillow covers with abstract patterns for spring home decor trends. we have a concept called spring cleaning around here; We do a thorough cleaning in our homes. then come new ones. We exhibit new decorations and new items that will warm our hearts after this cleaning. I hope my pillows are liked and give energy to homes.I wish everyone a good day. ·4 years agoI'm in the process of developing a series of paintings based on the Northern California Coast, and will offer prints. I'm trying out a more muted color pallet than I've used in the past, to blend well with homes decorated in natural and wood tones.

·4 years agoI don't really have a trend to create, per se. More of a "How did we manage to collect this much stuff?" sort of thing. :)) There are so many things to enjoy about so many different styles/genres, & I love to find new ways to mix & match them all...clothes & decor. Since I appreciated the various items enough to purchase, I figure others will feel the same.

·4 years agoThank you so much for the information! I will try to create a mood-boosting accent in my cat bridge - I want to add real dried yellow flowers to it and fill it with epoxy. I've never seen anything like this before, we'll see how it performs in the interiors.

Whether you hear past decades calling to you, or the natural world around you filling your thoughts, my offerings are a perfect combination. They all come from the heart, as both aspects are entirely from my own home life - I love working with very old and very new themes. And adding that special piece always is a mood booster!
