·4 years agoSo nice to see everyone's happy dance moments! I'm over the moon as I reached 1000 sales, but its not just the number, it was the work I put in for 2021 that got me there. Let me explain. I opened up my Penelope & Anastasia handmade shop in 2007 here on Etsy, and then added a second vintage shop in 2011. for years I juggled both separately. After a divorce and reshuffling of my time available to devote to my businesses, I was teetering on folding it all in. Instead I decided in 2020 to close my second shop and slowly began incorporating vintage in with the baubles. At the start of 2021 I had 695 sales in 14 years; as of yesterday I reached and exceeded 1000 giving me 308 sales in ONE YEAR. All the early morning shipping sessions, the late night listings, and working around the afternoon sunshine to photo in great light. We ETSY sellers can accomplish big things when we make up our minds to! I'm so proud of all of us! Merry Happy to all ~ XOXO ~ Pamela

·4 years agoAn item from my favourites has sold. I also purchased a digital Thanks Giving card for my relatives and friends that live in the U.S.A. I have reached 64 sales, some cash orders. Congratulations to all above.

We have been on Etsy since March 2019.
Last month was the best month we have ever had on Etsy.

I’m new to Etsy and my shop name is SmithDynastyBoutique and as I am reading through the forum and see many achievements that has happened and I would like to congratulate each and everyone of you guys. As for me my exciting achievement is actually getting my first sell. It was the best feeling ever i even sent the buyer a free gift for being my first purchase to my shop to show appreciation. I am looking forward to many more achievements towards my shop.

·4 years agoMy milestone for October was that I officially launched my Etsy page on October 26th, made my first sale October 27th, sold 2 items and have had over 100 something views and 80 visits to my page. Im excited for what's to come.

·4 years agoAn item from my had picked favourites list has sold. In addition an a potential buyer has favourited a few of my wool scarves. It is really exciting.
I would charge a bit more LittleCreekCardCo to help keep up with orders. It happened to me 10 years ago.

·4 years agoI just recently completed my first full year on Etsy with my shop and I'm beyond thrilled with how its gone!!!!
My goal for Nov is just to beat last year's sales. I have been working researching how the search algorithms work so that I can improve my tags. I have been working on packaging and ways to boost my reviews. I am also trying to lower my advertising expense (summer seemed to have a lower return on advertisement dollars spent, but last winter was 10% of sales. Hoping to get down to the 10% again this month!).
Last winter I got "stuck" where I couldn't get product out fast enough. I have over stocked myself this year and hope to be able to keep up with my 1 day turn around time on orders.

·4 years agoI guess I can't think of a milestone I hit, but October was a good month for my shop. Last year, (and so far this year) October was my best out of Sep-Dec., but this year, I'm hoping it's November. November is when I have my once a year sale, so I'm hoping it will be more popular this year. Last year, it didn't really have any effect, but I think it will this time... or at least, I hope so. That's my main etsy goal for November.

·4 years agoMy business was very slow in sales but I had a sale in September and another in October. I am very happy because a return costumer left me a beautiful review! I know it's not much, but it's important to me. I hope to have more sales. I make handwoven products and all are unique.

·4 years agoMy sales through Advertising began to pick up. I am glad I gambled on starting Ads again in September. If I had not, I doubt I would have made the revenue I did as 90% of my sales in October were from Ad placement, which gave me great ROAS. I am starting to get some ideas of trends and movements YOY in my shop, which is exciting. Now it's just waiting to see what November and December will bring. Wishing the best and brightest and BUSIEST season for everyone!

·4 years agoMy shop was mentioned on Tik Tok by a customer who bought a necklace and bracelet from me. By being mentioned I have now reached 300 sales! So excited to reach this milestone.

·4 years agoI opened my shop on Oct 1st and made 2 sales and got my first 5-star review! I did not expect to make any money until at least the second or third month so this was a huge win. It also meant I don’t have any fees to pay off : ) traffic has reduced but I’m trying to keep positive since I’m in this for the long haul

·4 years ago99 orders so far for October and typically 100-125 orders a month so with October typically being a slower month of the year, it turned out great...

·4 years agoOctober was the best month since I opened my shop in Sept. 2020. I've hit 50 sales!! I sell Wine Charms /Drink Markers so it was very slow with the quarantine. Goal is 40 SALES for NOVEMBER!!!!! Happy selling everyone!!!

·4 years agoWe had a good October. It's not quite over yet obviously, but as of today we're trending up 30% YoY compared to Oct. 2020.
edit to add: Goal was to get to 10 listing videos made by end of Oct and about to do #10 tomorrow! (imho videos are one reason we're trending up last couple months we added them, because it shows what you can put inside the books better).

·4 years agoIt’s been an interesting month; visitor numbers are going through the roof, conversion rate dropping at the same speed, some days with 1 sale and some with 8. Trying to stay a Star Seller for November but currently at 94% response rate because I didn’t reply to one of the two identical messages that someone sent double by accident. (Etsy has not managed to reply to my question how to solve it).
But hey, not even six months here and almost 100 sales per month isn’t that bad I guess. But those Google ad fees on top of the Etsy fees are a joke and killing margin.

·4 years agoWhile my traffic is way up this month, my sales are down from this time last year. However, I'm looking at is a win because it's given me a little extra time to work on my second Etsy shop!

·4 years agoMy October was much improved as well, I’m getting close to the 50 sales mark and dare I mention I made Star Seller? (altho probably soon gone because I had one person give me a 4 Star Rating because she had to trim the edge of my watercolor painting - lesson learned to explain that this allows for more perfect framing results - in the future.). I have learned a lot about tags and Photography and have spent a lot of time updating my listings and I think this is helping. At the same time I have been able to upload many more items and I reached 100 listings (which I am happy to say I have to work to keep it at that number!)

·4 years agoI’ve had 47 sales so far this month, a little less than an average month but it’s fine. My biggest accomplishment was revamping my shipping profiles and lowering the cost of standard shipping on small orders.

·4 years ago10 years here on Etsy this October. It's been amazing. Love this community. Over 12,000 sales. Had a full time job and sold in 3 collective shops when I started. Now I have 'retired" to just Etsy and art retreat venues. The explosion in online sales last year could not have been expected. Able to send a donation to a local food bank every month. Supporting other small shops by buying here on Etsy and local art.

·4 years agoHad a fantastic October-reached 50 sales (almost to 60!) and gained three return customers. Business has slowed down in the last week, but I'm hoping it'll pick back up with the holidays right around the corner. I've already noticed an uptick in gift purchases.

·4 years agoI had a great October! I made several sales (and I hit 60 sales) and I had a couple of return customers! Since October isn't quite over yet, I'm still hoping to get a couple more sales before it ends as well as getting one or two more items made and listed.

·4 years agoI broke $100 in total sales today this year! I’m hoping to get to $250 this year. I started my shop in September.
