800 sales! It has taken over 10 years but I'm impressed. In 2012 I didn't know what I was getting in to but here I am. I've learned a lot.

I have managed to reduce the postage costs of 15 shop items, by learning and buying from another shop too, and checking the new rates at the post office, plus shopping around for cheaper packaging.

While it is very easy to list items for sale online these days it can be very challenging to make sales. Online selling is complicated and has a steep learning curve. But, it can absolutely be done! And there are many sellers successfully doing it. It's just not easy.

Compare your prices to others on Etsy. If you are more expensive consider lowering your prices.

I have had 3303 views in the last so far this year in my shop. I used Etsy Ads too, I have spent about $18 on them in total in the last 2 years, I use them to rebalance my views and have achieved 1 Etsy Ads sale so far in that time, it was a large order, it pay to market in a non manipulating way and to your need of a sale and income that is fair to the general level of mental depression in your surroundings.

I started my store about a week ago. I've got over 40+ favorites, one subscriber, 98 visits and 102 views. No sales. I might try advertising next week. I hope this helps me and yourself as well. I plan to spend about $40 and see how it goes.

Congratulation! I think you should start with just about 10-20$ a day to have a general pics on how the ads work with your product first. It takes a week to see the effective of ads bro. This is a long journey.

I excited to finally be opening up shop! I created a dozen graphic designs back in September 2022. I was raised by amazing women in my life, at my college graduation you can easily see my biggest supports: my mom, aunts, and grandma. I have a digital marketing business where I help women owned small business build their brand and tell their story. I wanted to take it further by designing graphic tees and hoodies that inspire and empower women to bring out their inner badass. I am happy I just made my first listings! Hello!

I am happy to share that I've opened my Etsy store in December, made my first sale in January and I still recall that bubbly warm feeling in my guts and heart when I heard the chi-ching sound. However, it's been my goal to reach over 100 sales in first 3 months of opening and earn the star seller badge. I'm still on that journey, some days are slow, some days its crazy but I find persistence, keeping a positive outlook and setting goals is key to do good in business. Some days I feel like giving up but when I reflect back, I can truly see the progress I've made, and I wouldn't have made it if I didn't keep going and that gives me hope. Truthfully, I find that the groundbreaking stage of business isn't fun because you are working for your business instead of it working for you, but I now know it requires that in order to grow and eventually I know the ship will sail full steam ahead on its own and I look forward to that moment. Thank you.

I'm a little late to this hype train, but eager to participate. So this month, I was finally able to start receiving reviews from my customers. Many of my customers who weren't able to leave reviews, due to my shop still being new, came forward and really showed my shop some review love. I also teamed up with a customer to produce something unique for her and she intends to share it with all her friends this coming week at her semi-annual airstream camping trip. Eager to see what it brings.
