Hey everyone! First off, huge congrats to all the amazing Etsy sellers who hit milestones in June, regardless if it's your first sale or your 1000th, you did that! 🥳

June was a pretty exciting month for my little shop — Smol Joie Studio! I had 462 visits and made 5 sales, and all of them came with 5-star reviews (which honestly made my day 🥹). I was so close to snagging that Star Seller badge…

Now July… oof, it’s been a bit slower. Lots of views and visits but only 2 sales so far. I know summer can be weird like that, but still trying to keep the momentum going and not get discouraged.

@DoneForYouByKamisiah Thanks! I did a lot of research on trending products before I opened my shop. Once I came up with a list of products. I took a month to create products and then I opened an ETSY shop and uploaded them. I had to wait awhile before I could advertise because I was a new shop. Once I started advertising, the sales started coming in. I know that advertising may not work for every shop but it has definitely helped my shop. I started my budget really small at first, then increased it as my sales increased.

Hey, you have a great product. And, I'm sure it must take a lot of practice to sew leather. Have you considered making similar handbags and backpack. I think people would pay top dollar to get a Salmon Sushi Leather Purse or a Personalized Leather Pet Dog Backpack.

Hi everyone,

I need some help, I'm not selling any prohibited or used items- everything in my shop is brand new, and I follow all Esty rules. I've added my production partner and read the Seller Handbook. Still, I'm getting multiple violations, and because of that, I couldn't become a Star Seller. I've been facing issues since day one, even had payment reserve before listing anything.

This June hasn’t gone too badly, and looking ahead to July, I’ll be getting my Star Seller badge back!

That said, even though I had it in May, that month was a bit of a disaster. Hoping to keep moving upward and for my star to shine reeeeally bright in July! Good luck to everyone!

Read some of your comments and honestly am super happy for you guys!

I started my Etsy journey back in 2023. Life got in the way, and I had to go on a super long hiatus. I'm about to quit my full-time job and work on my store full-time. I havent made any sales this year, but there's so much that I've learned in my full-time that I am now able to apply to my own business, and if that isn't growth, I don't know what is. Waking up one day and deciding your full-time job isn't what you truly want and choosing to pursue your passion despite how risky it sounds—yeah, definitely a huge milestone.

I think when you stop focusing on how many sales you make and instead focus on what the customer NEEDS, you're already halfway there with your goal.

Today, I hit 4900 sales. I am so very happy. I opened my shop in 2010, but didn't start selling until the end on 2017. Back then, I couldn't imagine getting to 1000 sales.
