·3 years agoI made 9 sales in one day. It was insane, emotions were very intense, had ton of work, now Etsy placed a reserve on my payment account and views are back to none but hey, it was worth it! Gave me a lot of motivation to keep going.

I don't know why the store location stayed like that and I wasn't aware of it, thank you for warning and I fixed it immediately..

·4 years agoI had my first sale two days ago after less than 24 hours from opening my shop. And not from family or friends, didn't share my link with them to avoid that scenario. Words cannot describe how amazing that felt. Things definitely slowed down a lot but I'm still absolutely ecstatic about that first cha-ching and now I'm hoping for a positive review!

I was wondering, are positive reviews counted in the etsy algorithm, or is it only an information to buyers that everything is ok with the shop?

I opened my Etsy shop about 7 years ago, but honestly did not know how to use Etsy back then. I completely forgot about it until last year. I then decided to dedicate my time and effort to my shop and try to create products that I like and hopefully other people will too.
I am a huge fan of salsa dance, so I create salsa inspired items.

·4 years agoIn July, my sales exceeded $2000,Visits increased 113% compared to the same period last year.Sales are rising every month. I have great hopes for the future, which encourages me to design more new works. Everybody cheer for me

·4 years agoI am always interested to read these "Celebrate your Shop Milestones" posts.
I started designing & selling my retro mid century modern style clocks on Etsy in 2018 & have done quite well since then having
have just achieved the 15000 milestone mark.
At 68 years old this was supposed to be a semi retirement business lol - but 4 years later & with 6 full time employees I guess I am not going to retire just yet.
The Etsy selling platform has it's faults but I have to say that it would have been difficult to achieve this success without Etsy or the Royale Starburst Crew.
If I can offer friendly words of advice to beginners is to try & offer a unique product that is good quality, pack it with care, deliver it quickly & to give your customers excellent customer & after sales service.

·4 years agoI made one for me and people liked it so I made more, were mostly eyes and smiles like in Kawaii things, so I went with my instinct. The only one I used a video tutorial from YouTube was a snowflake which I attached later to my tumbler warmer. Still have it probably the tutorial is still there

·4 years agoI joined last month and am so happy that I have just made my first sale today - whitwoo. I don't have a business, just creative makings after a brain haemorrhage a couple of years ago, so I'm not really here to make lots of profit (you can probably see that from my prices lol), just to see things that I have lovingly made go off to their new homes.
