It is nothing more than sellers trying to boast themselves buy having more sellers like or follow their stores.
I have been with etsy for almost a year now and had zero sales. I am on eBay and Bonanza and getting sales every week.

·1 year agoIf you understand Etsy's algorithm, you can boost your sales. I am an SEO expert, which is why I first choose low-competition keywords and add proper keywords in the title and description. Then, I add more relevant keywords at the end of the description. Second, having more buyers add your item to their basket and add your shop or items to their favorites gives you a significant boost. Through thick and thin, accidents and setbacks, I plodded along like a turtle and I'm happy to say that my whole experience on Etsy has been great. Although 400 sales doesn't sound like much, it's a real achievement for me being the sole shop owner. I'm in a happy place with my jewelry creations, and I hope I can keep up the sales on Etsy.

·1 year agoYour shop looks nice. I'm new to this too, Reviews are smaller than my sales. About a week or 10 days after they have received their purchase, I message them, telling them I hope they are happy with item and would love to have their feedback.

I was talking with my fiance about how I wish this shop kicked into high gear, and about an hour or so later...and I heard a VERY new sound from the seller app. I grab my phone, and blurt out "Holy Sugar!" Not exactly that, for the record. And Now I am super pumped. So, I am so encouraged. Anyone want to help push folks my way, please feel free to do so!

I joined Etsy in 2018 and have made 39 sales so far. This is probably the best community that i have joined. After a break, I'm back to creating rare handmade products with my small team and am really impressed with the new features for sellers on App. In the last 30 days alone, I’ve made 9 sales and am working harder to create listings that convert. I also do small amount of Ads to target the right buyers. Excited for what’s ahead—let’s grow together!

·1 year agoIt's been a few months and I still don't have any sales but that's okay I read that is common. Wall Murals are a higher priced item so I expect it may be awhile before I get the sales rolling through and in the meantime I'll just keep slowly adding more listing as I create more print ready artwork. Those that seem to have cornered my market all seem to be POD but that's fine being able to print everything myself will be my not so secret weapon one day!
If anyone wants to give me a hand feel free to favorite my shop, and I'll return the favor.

I truly want to appreciate my buyer community as well as Etsy community as whole, i do not have much of a social network following and reaching this milestone is indeed a big achievement for me..
