·2 years agoExactly one year today since I opened my shop last year. I have to say it is much harder than expect. Harder to get traffic, hard to figure out what tags to use. Really hope it will get easier this year.

·2 years agoI hit 226 sales and £600 in revenue, as the worlds change, a day online isn’t the same as a day on the shop floor, it takes longer online, plus you have your own production line.
Later this year I have to organise clothing labels.

·2 years agoI opened my jewelry and gift shop at the end of June, got my first sale at the end of July, and till to date I sell total 142 product. Very excited and proud to be an Etsy seller.

I have had 225 online sales, plus 5-6 cash orders in 12 + years on Etsy and hope for more. I also had a good review for one of my orders this month.

·2 years agoI had issues with international shipping since covid so I had to discontinue. Sales are down without the worldwide orders but this is mainly a hobby for me so I’m okay with that.

·2 years agoTwo milestones for me were hitting 30 sales - I opened in September - and my first few sales to complete strangers! Up to then it was thru social media posts of either people who followed me, were friends of friends, saw a share, etc., not just coming across my work at random. Love that, and thinking about my art products going out there into the world is so cool!

·2 years agoAt the end of January I had 223 online sales, although my profits were down, I had good business retention, good reviews and happy customers. My customers were excited to see my new clothing range but haven't sold out of them yet this year. There is time. Well done to all above.

·2 years agoI launched my Etsy shop this week!!!! So excited and proud of myself, but my family (corporate 9-5-ers) don't really understand what it took for me to get here all by myself. I had no help but I want to do this right and hopefully make sales soon. Really glad there's a community of Etsy sellers who understand the entrepreneurship grind!!

·2 years agoI set up a collaboration with an author over on TikTok, and did almost as much in sales this January as I did all of 2023!
I also scraped together enough brain cells just beforehand to set up all of my links to redirect through Share & Save, and that alone was its own win. Saved $20 so far!

·2 years agoThis is our first January on Etsy and it is hard to describe the elation that I feel when I see a notification of an email from Etsy with the subject line "You made a sale on Etsy -" comes through.
We received an order of 20 lamps to our neighboring state in January which was a great highlight. In addition to my latest design gaining its first sale. A streaming production service also reached out to me to license the usage of my game lamp for a recurring show which is a fun idea! Lots of things to be encouraged by.

·2 years agoVery true! Don't give up! I have made only 200 sales and I have started a very long time, but I am not giving up as yet. I took a break, so I have placed my shop on vacation. I am trying to do things differently this year. Good luck to everyone!

·2 years agoThis January was a major milestone for me. I stepped WAY out of my comfort zone, due to the loss of my job and having a teenage daughter to care for alone, and I spent weeks learning how to set up an etsy account. I began on December 20th, and on January 27, 2024, I listed my first item for sale. I am still not sure what to do, or what I am missing. I have had 13 visits so far. I would really enjoy help from any other successful shop owners, especially in the digital downloads niche to critique my store and give me some pointers. Thank you all for allowing me.

·2 years agoI haven't been active seller this month, only listing 2 new items. BUT I grabbed an old cork board laying around doing nothing, some post-its, a pen, and my endless to do list. With all that I made myself a 12 month calendar of design ideas and goals for this year. It's not very Insta / Etsy aesthetics but I was able to organize my ideas to annual holidays and gave myself concrete goals to aim for this year. It felt so good! I encourage any one seeing this - do the same! Even if it's on a regular sheet of paper. Write out the next few months and list out what you want to do. Cheers to another year!

·2 years agoI am very thankful for January after having several slow months! I got my first sale a day before I did in January 2023, so I felt like I was off to a good start. I received four more sales since then, which ties my highest amount of sales in one month. I have passed the 60 sale milestone, which was my goal to reach by end of March. I am excited to see how my Etsy adventure will grow this year. Best of luck to everyone in February!

·2 years agoI got to 4200 sales earlier this month and after a not so great last year, have had a good month, 36% up from last January. I am setting my goal to have more handmade things in my shop.

My new products are being so well received. I have also got such lovely and beautiful new reviews, which doubles my joy and motivation.
I love my creativity, my label and Etsy.

·2 years agoAfter coming back in May 2023, I am happy to say that I made my 25th sale this month and have been listed as a Star Seller so I am thrilled with that. I have had 3 customers leave me wonderful reviews which has helped so looking forward to the next 25 sales as well as continuing to add new photos along the way.

·2 years agoI've been on Etsy since 2011 and I have so many repeat happy customers without them I don't know what I would do. My revenue is a little up compare to last year. I also hit 3350 sales so I'm happy with that.

·2 years agoLast year was the slowest since I started here for my shop of Vintage Treasures, but I kept at it and Ive just had my 800th sale.
Been selling here since 2015.
I'm still down 40% to 60% on the stats but I have high hopes for this year.

·2 years agoPour ma part, le mois de Janvier 2024 n'est pas aussi bon comparé à celui de l'année dernière mais j'ai espoir que les ventes augmente pour 2024.
Je travaille actuellement sur la modification des photos et la recherche de mots clés pertinents. Je suis entrain de revoir toutes mes fiches produits afin de voir ce que je peux améliorer et modifier.

Also I'm getting a lot of sales of new merchandise soon after listing... instead of it taking months to get an item sold I'm selling things within weeks or days of listing (I just sold an item I listed 2 days before). Feeling hopeful for 2024 overall.

·2 years agoToday is Day 100 for our shop! This month we've been focusing hard on organizing weekly drops vs a rather frenetic listing of new items one by one. We're doing a ton of research on time- and cost-efficient methods for developing new items and improving on our original ideas. Sharing sneak peeks and updates as well as celebrating shipping items off to new homes on Instagram is definitely finding potential customers, which makes us really happy. Instagram has evolved a lot and it's felt like relearning the platform, but it has been worth it. We joined Etsy's Share & Save program and I think this is where IG is going to become very important. So excited to see where that particular program, as well as this whole grand experiment, goes!

I'm adding new items the main one of which generates multiple items per order from one customer vs one item per order, so a great way to increase revenue. Tip: Make a product people would need multiple of instead of just one. Example: something for a team where multiple items are needed for multiple people on the team.

I’ve just added a new product to my store. It’s waiting to have its first sale but initial response to the item on socials has been great ☺️
