·1 year agoThis month I'm celebrating some fantastic repeat buyers on Etsy! They've been very communicational which I've enjoyed. They each shared images of my purchased work in their spaces through messages. They've given me such a positive feeling and confirmation of why I continue to create. I celebrated each of them.
Since I've moved commissioned art and larger artworks off of Etsy it's been hard to sell these items outside of the site other than at in-person gallery showings. But this month these online sales greatly increased and made this one of my most profitable months. Although these sales didn't happen on Etsy it was my largest reason to celebrate. I'm thankful this month was a good one. Selling has become more difficult in these times.

·1 year agoJust the other day we earned our 10th sale. We've been open since the first week of August, so we're very pleased to hit that milestone! Also, we are up to 100 shop listings as of today and only continuing to grow.
One thing I tell myself is to remember to celebrate even the smaller sales. Here are some wise words I received from somebody that I think we all have to remind ourselves of when running our shops:
Every sale, no matter the size, is a step in the right direction. It's evidence that people are interested in what you're offering and willing to support your business. Even a small sale is another order fulfilled, another customer satisfied, and another contribution to building your brand. With each sale, you're gaining experience and learning about your target market. Don't underestimate the importance of these small sales, they're just as valuable as larger ones.

·1 year agoI just opened my template company capitalizing on seasons about 3 weeks ago and have made 6 sales this week! I plan on celebrating by rolling into more Halloween content for cards and invitations! I'd like to start making birthday card templates too! I'm hooked on the possibilities of creating and selling more and more!!

The idea is to cross sell them - promote book through music and then promote music through book, I e I use QR codes in my book and link each recording to corresponding music sheet.

I am the creator of a store dedicated to digital educational products for children, where each item is thoughtfully and passionately designed. We offer a wide range of educational materials, including flashcards, workbooks, and interactive storybooks, all available in five different languages. Our products are priced affordably to support as many families as possible in educating their little ones through engaging and stimulating activities.
My love for creating these materials comes from my personal experience as a mother. I have a 2-year-old daughter and am eagerly awaiting the arrival of my second child. In addition, before becoming a mother, I worked in a kindergarten, where I learned how important educational and creative activities are for the harmonious development of children, as well as for strengthening the bond between parents and children.
Each product in my store is designed to provide parents with the tools they need to create moments of learning and exploration with their children, in a fun and interactive way. I am inspired daily by the play and activities I share with my own family, and every material is the result of hours of work, dedication, and genuine passion.
At this time, I am looking to drive more traffic to my store and increase sales, so that my work can reach as many families as possible who can benefit from these resources. I strongly believe that early education has a profound impact on children's development, and I want to contribute to this process in a meaningful way.

·1 year agoMy milestone is that after selling since 2011 AI keeps flagging items and my shop may get suspended due to lack of human AI oversight. I had to wait over 5 weeks for a human response. Now more like items are being taken down as dangerous after the others were cleared by a human. It is stressful to think you may loose your livelihood over this mess. Why is Etsy doing this to sellers and why are shops being punished before an actual HUMAN looks things over???

·1 year agoHappy to report sales were slightly up over last August 2023 so that's always good but disappointed to report that labor sales sucked. Not sure what's going on with slow down but like every number is down for Sep. Which is really disappointing. Oh well I'm putting my shop on vacation mode on Friday so I guess no one will miss me, Lol.

·1 year agoHi, I opened a store featuring my handmade glass bead bracelets in July. In August, I made my first sale, and my husband and cats shared in my happiness. I feel very fortunate to have them and this opportunity. I hope September brings even more good news for all of us

I have over 860 sales and I have over 370 vintage items for sale.

·1 year agoI re-opened my shop at the end of April 2023 after a 9 year hiatus and have had more sales in the past 16 months than I had total from 2007-2015 before pausing the shop. All my numbers are also up from the same time last year so I’m hopeful the trend will continue. August was very good.
I’m so grateful for my customers and for this venue to sell from.

·1 year agoIt's just a small thing to celebrate, but after a very slow summer, August orders/conversion/revenue were all up significantly over last year (even though the number of visits was down quite a bit!) Yay for small things!
