Just had my 6,000th sale. Last year was probably my best year yet, but this year views and sales are down 50%. No idea why.

Very grateful to Etsy though, for an outlet to sell my artwork, and not at the silly prices which I would have to charge in a gallery.

Hi there!

I recently opened my handmade press-on nail shop, it’s been just about three weeks now. I’ve really enjoyed designing the sets, and I’ve put a lot of care into taking photos, writing up the titles and descriptions and list new items daily.

I haven’t had any sales yet, and I’m still figuring out how Etsy SEO works. Honestly, I just want to focus on making lovely nails and hope they’ll reach the right people soon.

If anyone has any tips or suggestions for getting more views or improving my shop, I’d be ever so grateful to hear them!

I started Etsy again last month and started adding more listings. Although I have not made much, the growth is happening slowly. So far, I have made 150 sales in the last 30 days, and I am trying my best to add more listings to compound the growth. It is frustrating sometimes to find what would get traction and sales, but after looking at the data, I am trying to do my best with it. Hope to take it to more than 400 sales this next month. *fingers crossed

This April was a meaningful month for me at Engraving4U, my small laser engraving business based in Bournemouth.

That's amazing. Getting sales is pretty important. Keep running Etsy Ads and make sure you are Advertising the right items so they get sales. Views and likes are good but sales are what drive you to the top. Ads take about a month to properly get you sales.

Hello everyone!
It’s hard to believe May is just around the corner!

April was a special month for me and my small business focused on Moroccan rugs. I started sharing photos of handwoven pieces on my page and received some lovely engagement from people interested in this rich traditional art. I also attended a virtual workshop about pricing on Etsy, which really helped me organize my future plans for listing my rugs on the platform.

The accomplishment I’m most proud of this month is completing my very first full rug based on my own design, inspired by motifs from the Middle Atlas region. It was a deeply emotional and rewarding experience.

Looking forward to growing even more in May — and I’d love to hear how your April went too!

I am proud of myself because in April, I had 2 big bridal jewelry orders at the same time! I am just honored that people would want my creations as part of their special day. I remember I was told to stop talking about my business back in 2020 when I only had 3 orders so far. Now I've had hundreds of orders fulfilled and more importantly, amazing, supportive return customers! My goal this year is to work on establishing my Etsy since I am new to the platform (not as a shopper, but as a seller).
