I have been building my etsy store for a long time and it is not easy to get to know all tips and trics, to be all the time in it, to make changes for growing a store. @NILEYARTIf they're asking for your email address or sending links, it's most likely spam. Usually, as soon as new shops upload products, they start receiving these messages.

Spam!!! I got this message as well when I first opened. Also messages from Etsy will not have an option to reply, I also got messages claiming to be from Etsy giving "scare" messages. Ignore anything and report it that does not look legitimate!

Hey All,

So, let me start by saying how horrible etsy support is. I started selling on etsy in july with my ITIN until my SSN would come everything was going well but by October I got my SSN so i go into the dashboard and change it to my SSN and that is where my problems started.

I uploaded every single document that I have and it still wouldn't verify so i am like okay let me contact support and boy oh boy it shouldn't be called support cuz they definitely don't do that.

I submitted a support ticket and it took them 2 weeks to respond with an answer showing me how to change my SSN in my account dashboard which I already did and was not my issue, I respond not even 5 mins later and yes another week to get an answer, then I decided to attach my documents in the support reply and 2 weeks later i get an answer of ohh we will email you when it's done, that was a month and half ago and till this day there isnt a single answer.

Now, on to the very interesting part, since that verification issue happened they locked my deposits so i was getting orders and fulfilling them and my money is in the etsy account but basically frozen i cannot withdraw it.

This is where it gets juicey. 2 days ago they decided to refund all of my sold orders from them past 2 months WHICH ARE SHIPPED and done i even got reviews for them so now my etsy account is negative, and then in their infinite wisdom today they charged my personal bank account with that negative balance.

I don't know what to do cuz i know if i despite the transaction they will permanently ban me and i like the platform but this is unacceptable.

hopefully someone sees this an actually helps me

I haven't reached any sales yet in my store that I opened this year. I am only a 3-month-old store. I currently have 454 products. I hope to write here that I have exceeded 1000 sales by the end of this year.
