For full access to the Etsy Community Hub and to participate in Forums discussions, you must be a seller with an open shop on Etsy. You need to sign in to your seller account to view or post on the Forums or join or create a Team. To sign in, select Log in at the top of any community.etsy.com page. Then, use your Etsy.com login credentials to sign in.  Why am I being prompted to grant access access? Some users may be prompted to grant access when first logging into the new Community Hub. Since 2024, sellers need to sign in with their verified Etsy shop account to join most conversations in the Forums. This feature helps keep our community space secure and special, and just for Etsy sellers, so you can connect, share and learn in a trusted environment. When you sign in, you may see a message asking you to connect your account through Etsy’s Single Sign-On (SSO). This lets Forums recognize you as an Etsy seller without needing separate credentials. It’s powered by Bevy, our trusted partner platform, and allows their OAuth 2.0 standards.   Rest assured, Bevy does not have access to your shop details or information in Shop Manager. They only receive limited data needed to confirm your Etsy identity and display your forum profile, nothing more. You’ll still be able to view posts in publicly available spaces of the Hub like Announcements, Education and Insights and Technical Issues Forums without signing in.  🔔 Your profile and notifications  How do I update my profile?  To update your profile, click your avatar in the top right corner of the page and select Profile . Then, click Edit Profile to update your profile image, banner, About me section, and other details. Note: Some profile details may still be migrating. If you don’t see all of your information present, please try refreshing the page, clearing your cache, or checking back later. What are Etsy Community Badges? Where can I see the badges I have earned? Sellers can earn Community Badges by engaging with different aspects of the Community Hub, including things like attending events and connecting with other sellers in the Forums. Badges that you’ve earned will appear on your Community Profile . To view your Badges, head to your Profile and then Badges . Here you’ll be able to view the Badges you’ve already unlocked as well as those you’re currently working towards. Note: In progress badges are only visible to you. How can I customize the Community Hub notifications I receive? You can customize your Community Hub notifications within your profile settings. Visit your Profile and then click Notification settings to make updates. You can turn on or off notifications sent to you within the Community Hub (appears in the top right corner, after clicking the bell icon) or to your email. You can also opt in to “digest” style emails here that give an overview of notifications every 5 minutes, daily, or weekly. If you make any changes, select Save to update your settings. 🧭 Navigating the Forums How do I get to the Forums? On the left navigation bar, you can browse Forum boards, based on key topics for running your business and connecting with other sellers. From here, you can also click the All Etsy Forums to view the full list of boards. Once viewing a board, Forum boards, based on key topics for running your business and connecting with other sellers. From here, you can also click the All Etsy Forums to view the full list of boards. How can I adjust the font size in the Hub? Thank you for your feedback about text size in the new Hub. We’ve increased the default font size across the site to make it easier to read. If you’d like to make the text even larger (or smaller), you can also use your browser’s zoom controls. If you’d like to adjust it further, you can use your browser’s zoom controls: On Windows: Press Ctrl and + to zoom in, or Ctrl and - to zoom out. On Mac: Press Command and + to zoom in, or Command and - to zoom out. 💬 Forums Engagement How do I post in the Forums? To start a new discussion or ask a question in the Forums:  Go to the Community Hub and select Forums from the top navigation. Select New post, then choose whether your post fits best as a discussion or a question. Select Discussion if you’d like to start an open conversation, share experiences, or exchange insights with other sellers.   Select Question if you’re asking for specific assistance, information, or feedback from other sellers. Choose Select a category board and pick a topic your post relates to from the dropdown list.  Provide a descriptive title and elaborate on your topic in the description field.  Once you're satisfied with your post, select Post to publish it for others to engage with. Why is my post pending approval? 10/29/25 - This issue has been resolved ✅ We are aware that some posts are currently getting “stuck” in the pending approval queue and understand this may be causing delays. We are actively working to fix these technical issues, and appreciate your patience as we resolve it. Once the issue is fixed, only posts that potentially violate our Community Policies will be routed to an approval queue for additional moderation review. Note: To ensure a safe space, images and hyperlinks may be reviewed before appearing publicly. Our Moderators aim to process these as quickly as possible, though the review period may take up to 24 hours. How do I subscribe to a specific post? You can manage how and when you receive notifications like this, as well as others, in your Profile , within Notification settings . Notification settings for specific posts are labeled there as "new discussion posted". How do I translate content in the Community Hub or within Forums posts? We recommend using your web browser’s built-in translation tools or a translation extension to read posts in your preferred language—these options work seamlessly across most websites and can provide quick, accurate translations. For example, if you’re using Google Chrome, right-click anywhere on the page and select ‘Translate to [Your Language]’. You can also install the Google Translate or browser extension for quick translations on any site. How is the order of posts on a board determined? The order of posts on each board is determined by engagement recency; meaning that posts with the the most recent comments, replies, or reactions will automatically appear at the top. This structure ensures that relevant discussions remain visible and easy to find.   10/29/25 - This issue has been resolved ✅ We’re aware of an issue causing some boards to still not order posts properly. Our team is working on a fix to resolve this. We appreciate your patience as we roll out this new experience. If you’d like to keep track of a particular post or ongoing conversations, we recommend subscribing to that post by turning on notifications. Doing so will notify you when there is activity, helping you stay up to date without needing to search for it manually. For instruction on how to subscribe to a post, refer to question 3 of this section. 🤝 Etsy Teams 1.  What's new with Etsy Teams? Where can I find my Etsy Teams? We’ve recently introduced an updated Teams experience to help sellers find and engage with groups based on shared interests, location, or creative niche. You can learn more about the new Teams experience here . To locate Teams you are already a part of, head to the Forums to view your Subscriptions . In the left side navigation, under Subscriptions , you can see both Forums boards you are following and teams you are a member of.  If you are not seeing a team you were previously a member of, we suggest checking in with your Team Captain. Etsy Insights: 5 Tips for Getting A Five-Star Review ⭐

Hi everyone! I’m Divya from Etsy’s Community Team. I’ve worn many hats here at Etsy, including writing for the Etsy Journal where I often curated product reviews for items we wanted to feature—to give our readers genuine feedback from previous buyers. This means I’ve read many 5 star reviews! There are some common themes that have stood out to me over time, so today I’d like to share:  🏅 Quality is key: This might be obvious, but exceptional quality prompts buyers to review your items. But what really stands out in their reviews is that the quality exactly matched their expectations. So even if you sell vintage items that come with a bit of wear-and-tear or you create pottery items by hand so they have certain imperfections in their shape—most buyers appreciate it when you clearly mention what they should be expecting from their purchase (before they make it!).  💬 Quick communication: Some buyers checkout with zero questions but others might have doubts or custom requests. These are the ones who, if they go through with the purchase, might come back to review the item—just because of how your conversation helped them with their decision.  📦 Pay attention to packaging You might think packaging isn’t as important as your product, but many buyers may disagree. Exceptional packaging, that keeps the item safe, is consistently mentioned in five-star reviews. And buyers can absolutely tell when you’ve put thought into it—efforts to be sustainable and reduce waste are always appreciated!  📅 Set realistic timelines From anniversaries and birthdays to the first day of school and last day of work, so many buyers turn to Etsy for memorable gifts. And while we know there can sometimes be unexpected delays, buyer reviews often call out a perfectly-timed delivery. Remember: It doesn't have to be a quick delivery so much as an accurate estimate of the delivery timeline—we know some of your special items are made on order and can’t be shipped overnight.  ❣️ A heartfelt thank you note Last but not the least, a thank you note can be the personal touch that inspires your customers to leave a great review. Share a little about the making of their item and what you hope they feel when they see it for the first time. And you can also add a subtle nudge for them to share photos or tag your shop. We're always on the look out for special reviews that can melt anyone’s heart. What was the most memorable review you’ve ever received? Share with us in the comments below!

Etsy Insights: Finding Your Etsy Community

Hello! I'm Kat from The Flat of Kat , where I create personalised superhero capes and accessories. My journey on Etsy began in 2014, inspired by my son and the need for unique items as he got older. The superhero line truly took off with my son's fourth birthday when I crafted personalised capes with each child's initials. Since then, I've been creating superheroes non-stop! I operate my business from my sunny sewing room at home in Brighton, on the South Coast of the UK. I'm also proud to be the Captain of the Brighton Etsy Sellers Team, a fantastic community that I help run with the support of my leaders. When I work in my sewing room alone, it’s so great to know that I’ve got the support of my community. Our Brighton Team meetings are incredibly fun, and I'm constantly learning from others. There's always helpful advice and actionable tips to make my shop truly shine. With such experienced sellers on our team, we benefit from each other’s critiques, which have done wonders for my shop in the past. We all know we can't be masters of every aspect of our businesses, but with our Team, we get the help needed to grow. If you’re thinking about joining a Team, here’s a few tips I would recommend: Find your Team and have a read through of the Team’s description. Is there anything you can do to help with the Team’s goal? Once you join a Team, comment on Discussion Threads that resonate with you and ask questions to receive support. There are so many helpful people with different ideas and knowledge to help you resolve any challenges as you grow your shop. This will also help you build relationships with other sellers within the Team. Look at Team events and see if there are any in-person or virtual meetings you can attend. I couldn't run my shop without my community, the constant support, help and answers that spur me on daily. It's a very positive vibe and everyone on the Team is there because they want to be. I can put out a question and have it answered by a peer, and I can ask for criticism and tips that will improve my shop. There are people that want to support me and from this, I've done collaborations with the Team and also helped others create products behind the scenes. Etsy can be an amazing journey, and having a community makes it even better. Join a Team and find your community today.

      Celebrating 15 years on Etsy

Hi, I’m Hazel of mommawhazelsquilts , and I’m celebrating 15 years on Etsy! What a time it has been.  My very first sale was sold to someone in Canada. I was so excited to ship my first item internationally. Soon after, I listed some homemade Buckeyes (or peanut butter balls as we call them) “just for fun,” and to my surprise, they sold immediately. For a while, I was making hundreds of Buckeyes every Fall and Winter, until I eventually decided to focus more on quilting and crafts. My best moment on Etsy might have been in November of 2013 when I received a request to make 50 of my felt star ornaments by the Texas Quilt Museum. Seeing them on the museum’s Christmas tree was such an honor. Today at almost 90 years old, I still run three Etsy shops and a booth at a local venue. Staying creative keeps me active and brings me joy. Over these 15 years, I’ve faced challenges, including the loss of my son in 2018 and undergoing cancer treatment in 2020. I love being on Etsy and truthfully, I feel what I do here has a lot to do with not only my physical health but also my mental. I just don't know how to quit "making" and "doing."  As I celebrate 15 years on Etsy, I invite you to share your shop successes and milestones with me. I look forward to reading them!
