Hey everyone!

Welcome to the Listing Critique Thread

The idea of this is to give, and gain, some feedback from other Dorset Team members on one of your listings. It is a chance to have another pair of eyes on your listing and for other members to help out saying what they might do to improve it or what might be missing from your listing.

Constructive feedback :) - We are all at different levels. Goes without saying but please be positive, helpful and constructive with your feedback.

Do you mind if I jump on? Not an experienced seller in the slightest but as a customer I would like to see the description rearranged slightly if possible? Your images are fab and your shop speaks for itself in sales and 5* reviews! You have done amazing! In the description you've described the product - then added a bit about you and what you do - then gone back to explain another feature of the product (cream jumper back fastening) - then gone on to explain it's your original pattern and all the sizes you offer. It just feels like the description could flow a little smoother. Other than that, it looks absolutely perfect and I really hope your sales pick up!

Hi Jeni,

Your teddy bear clothes are lovely!

I would take a look at your photos as they are one of the biggest deciders to if someone is going to purchase or not. Your second photo on the listing is quite blurry so I would remove that one. I think your lifestyle shots are the strongest with the teddy wearing the clothing. I would perhaps also consider splitting the listings up so the jumper, the dungarees etc all in separate listings.

Good morning - New business here - I know my photos are problematic - not sure how to take these amazing photos I've seen loads of other people using but - this is my 'best product' - hit me with it 🫣😊

Your product looks fab ( I was on a laptop) , great to see the video on how the tiles wipe clean and being used and the pic of the little boy

And I thought your description was perfect - though perhaps say how big when all in use together

My first impression on the pics was no photo where you could see of all the alphabet or number cards, perhaps on a fridge, table or even on a laminate floor as background

I take lots of pictures and choose the best ones. I also use the edit feature on my phone to improve the photos

Other photo ideas :

Maybe do a close up of one tile - I'd choose Monkey ....... but that's just me ! You could do a poll on IG / FB to choose the letter to be shown !

Add a close-up photo showing the back of the tiles as I did wonder what that was like .

Product idea - as you offer add -ons what about reusable / washable wipe clean clothes to put in the bag

Also I'd put in the title that:

there is a travel bag or carry case ( easy to keep together & tidy, would feature I'd appreciate)
they are picture tiles, I saw that the pictures quality was mentioned in your reviews.

Thank you so much!! I will definitely add in some better images. My kids are my inspiration and they like to be a part of my process and in all the photos. I like your idea of showing the back also. I've put the travel bag as an optional add on as I know some people wouldn't want to take them out of the home. I will add to my title though and see if that helps. I appreciate your feedback on my product. ☺️
