If you were starting your Esty shop again, what would be your 3 top priorities?
This year I can only attend one Christmas market so it feels like a good time to re start my Esty shop. You all have tons more experience than me, could you please give me a few good hints?

·2 weeks agoExciting that you are going to be restarting your Etsy shop!
My top 3 priorities would be:
1) Good photos - Well lit, clear and in a consistent style with lots of different angles and ideally videos too.
2) Listing text which answers all the top questions whether that is in the body of text itself or with the attributes. So things like size, colour, features etc.
3) Giving an amazing customer experience. Once you get the sales coming in, make sure you give your customers the best experience so you can get those good reviews, Etsy know you have shipped it fast and build a customer base.
Are there particular areas you find tricky? Or something you are hoping in particular to work on?

OP2 weeks agoI am hoping to have a collection of smaller items, easier to post but super cute to catch the gen Z too!
I need to steamline the whole etsy process to make it really worth it too.

·2 weeks agoLove that! Yes, sounds like Gen Z is really shopping on Etsy at the moment :)
I have found that once you get going with listings and get into the flow it is much quicker. Etsy have also bought out changes to the listing system which make it MUCH easier than before so if you haven't added listings for a while you might find it easier. It auto suggests things now.
