(when I was a kid we went to the beach in Brooklyn (wall to wall people). A Good Humor Ice Cream Man would wind his way through the thicket of people He wore full regalia - white long pants, hat, shirt, etc. - lugging a portable freezer/cooler thing on his back. I can still taste those Good Humor pops, melting in the sun and slightly sandy from my hands!)

Years ago in my sub, there was a guy in the ice cream truck. He'd come daily and drive up and down the streets. But what I didn't know (one of the little kids told me in a lengthy story), that he didn't like kids and was mean to them when they asked a question or ordered ice cream. At the time I thought; and he gets a job driving the ice cream truck (of all things)? I never witnessed him doing anything. If I did I would have said something.

·4 years ago@ChillwolfArt Our Good Humor Man who came in the truck (not the beach guy) was so friendly - knew all the kids, the parents, he gave meaning to the name "Good Humor". He was very popular, more for the ice cream though.

·4 years agoquesadilla ~ Three people where fishing in a lake, one of them was eating a quesadilla. One of the fisherwoman lost the balance when trying to catch a fish and the boat flipped. The quesadilla floated and was moved by the water waves. The lake originates a river, and the river ends in the ocean. That is how a quesadilla ended in the sea. WOW, it was like a story from the Write a Story with Two Words or Three Words Continuing Story forum.

Years ago, we went to California once. It was very cold (60s). Although there were girls in bikinis skateboarding everywhere. I was bummed we couldn't go in the ocean, so I walked in with all of my clothes on (pants, shirt, jacket). It was freezing. I just wanted to get in the ocean once before we left.
