Need Help Improving Shop Visibility and Getting Sales on My Etsy Store

Hello Etsy Team,

I hope you are doing well.

I am the owner of a small shop (BridesmaidGifted), and I have been working very hard on my store for a long time. I am putting in continuous effort to improve my listings, titles, descriptions, and product quality, but unfortunately, I am still not getting sales.

I feel a bit stuck and confused about what I might be doing wrong. I truly want to grow on Etsy and build a successful shop, but without sales or visibility, it is becoming very difficult.

I would really appreciate your guidance on:

How I can improve my shop visibility
Whether my listings meet Etsy SEO standards
What changes I should make to start getting traffic and sales

I am fully committed to improving and following Etsy’s best practices. I just need the right direction.

Well, firstly the jewelry section is mature... in other words, saturated. I have one of the pioneer shops (17-18 years, started not long after Etsy launched) and I keep in contact with other pioneer sellers, and the jewelry sellers are not doing well lately (we have stats from the earlier years so we can really compare the difference). A second issue is if you have been targeting Asian brides, they are shy to leave a review on Etsy (some years we do see an uptick in racial prejudice and they have reason to be afraid of being spammed/phished) and they generally prefer to recommend you to friends and family privately or in an Asian friendly community online. So you may need to advertise/promote in those places instead of using SEO as you would end up competing with Indian and other factories who copy designs and sell cheaper (that is something the pioneers have experienced). You may also be confused with them. Third, you probably need to pick what sells and what doesn't... if some designs are similar to others, then you are competing on price and not on design. It's not an easy year... take care!
