I don't really understand this problem that has arisen in recent days regarding the private/public setting of favorites.
If someone marks my product as a favorite, I see it on MY dashboard. This is independent of whether the person's favorites collection is set to private or public. And after all, the favorite marks in the ranking of my product that I see on my dashboard count.
Whether someone's favorites are set to private or public only matters if another visitor wants to see who the store's favorites are. If it's public, you can see it, if it's private, you can't see it.
In summary, if someone honestly clicks through the daily list and puts his own heart on everyone, he can expect to get his own favorite from the others, assuming that everyone does their job honestly.
I have always started from this and never looked at who was honest and who was not. I trust that everyone is honest. I clicked through the list and it's done.
Now, since this private/public problem came up, there are hardly any favorites and I don't know why. I continue to click through the list every day and trust that others will do the same.

·1 year agoYou are absolutely right. I also don't like playing police whether someone favs or not my my items. Unfortunately some people just post and ghost, and their favourites are not even private. I believe this is what's actually upsetting most people here. I'd never suspect someone not faving just because their favs are set to private.

·1 year agoI am a practical person. I asked myself: what needs more time? If I click all the way through the list, or if I check who gave me a favorite and only click on that one? I think the answer is quite clear and I act accordingly. The fastest procedure is to click through the list and then go back to make money. I think that if everyone thinks this through, then this list can be much more effective.

A lot of people complained their favs kept turning private. I haven't noticed anything with mine, but I only keep one collection public for these threads.
