How do I check that my information is up to date?
If you're a US seller, go to Legal and tax information in Shop Manager to verify that your details on file are correct and match your legal documents. This includes:
Your taxpayer ID
Depending on how you file your business taxes, your taxpayer ID may be a social security number (SSN), employer identification number (EIN), or individual taxpayer identification number (ITIN).
If you have multiple shops on Etsy, you should use the same taxpayer name and ID on all of them. This way, the form you receive will contain combined totals and the correct taxpayer information, making filing your business taxes easier.
Address
Legal name
Seller type (Individual or Business)
I’ve reviewed and confirmed that my legal and tax information is up to date. What should I do next?
Sit tight! There’s nothing else you need to do right now.
Who will receive a 1099-K form?
This year, any Etsy seller who made more than $20,000 in gross sales and had 200 transactions in 2025 will be issued a 1099-K form from Etsy. Reporting thresholds may change from year to year.
If I meet the threshold for a 1099-K form, how will I receive it?
You’ll receive your 1099-K form electronically. Electronic forms are faster and more secure than physical forms. If you want a physical copy, you can download and print the e-form yourself.
