Star Seller Issue

Even though I met all the conditions to become a Star seller, the "Orders" section has not been completed at 5 for a long time. (I've got my fifth order long time ago.) For this reason, I could not become a Star seller. I contacted Etsy via live support and they told me that I had to report the technical problem. How do I solve this problem?

the star seller sats are only counted for the last 3 months

if you have had less than 5 sales in the last 3 months, you won't get star seller

I've got my 5 orders in the last 3 months

for the star seller for the caluclation for 1st May

your first sale had to be before 1st Feb.

and you have to have 5 sales between 1st Feb and now

as you only have 5 sales, then either you don't have 5 sales in the last 3 months,

or it's been less than 3 months since your first sale.

The Orders metric will also remain pending until you reach 90 days from the date of your first sale.

You're not eligible for Star Seller until then.

My first sale was on February 4th. Then i need to wait couple of days to reach 90 days. Get it, thank you!

90 days will be May 4th and the next chance to qualify will be June 1st.

Star Seller is calculated only on the 1st of each month, and on that day it must have been more than 90 days since your first sale, then you need to have met the order quantity and volume requirements during the preceding three month period, and only then are the other metrics considered. If you are not eligible on May 1st your next opportunity will be June 1st.

@BearKnifeShop  Click the Star Seller link on the left side in your shop manager ... all information is posted there and specifically outlines the requirements, including sales (# of sales & $ amount of sales), shipping, tracking, messages, reviews.  Many requirements, not just 5 sales.  Sounds like you won't meet the May metrics, but hopefully you will for June.  Good luck!

@PearlInTheOcean: You need to  be more specific than "I have had the same issue" if you want some assistance, or are you just commiserating with the original poster.

@PearlInTheOcean  What exactly is the issue? You have no badges which means you mostly likely did not meet the $300 threshold.

I did meet the criteria for: 

Message Response Rate (100 %)

Average Rating (5.0)

Orders (Way above the minimum of 5) 

I did not and have not in past months met the minimum sales amount - but that doesn't detract from the above "badges." Right? 

Yet there are no badges. Instead, a blurb about this being a great shop for gifts. Gifts? A digital shop??? Inappropriate.

@ButterflyFeetDigital you need to meet the sales (number and value) criteria first, then you get the badges if you meet the criteria for each badge.

That hasn't happened in my shop previously. Just the badges I did get were mentioned at the top of my shop page.

@ButterflyFeetDigital The USD $ 300 Monetary Value and 5 Orders in a 90 Day Review Period MUST be achieved to be eligible for any SSP Badges. They are the "qualifiers"

If you previously achieved 1 or 2 mini badges, but not the overall SSP Rating, then you MUST have reached the 5 Orders / $ 300 benchmark. This is the way the system has operated since inception. The only change was a reduction in the required Order Number from ten to five
