Live Chat Button is Missing

When I look at my Etsy Dashboard today, the Live Chat Button that normally appears in the lower right hand corner is missing. Does anyone know what happened to it? I thought Live Chat was supposed to be available 24/7.

It's only there when live chat is available.  It's never been there 24/7 in my experience. It may also have to do with star seller status but not 100% sure as I have have it when I didn't have the star.

It is active now.

First it was only available to those with star seller, then I think they made it available to all

Have they returned to not making it available to all?

It used to only appear for star sellers in their dashboard, but was made available to all earlier this year.

Seems like they have taken it away again, checked with a friend of mine and she no longer has it in the dashboard either.

Maybe others can confirm

I think it’s back to Star Sellers only as I don’t have it.

Unless Etsy has decided it’s a perk reserved for some and not others, much as they have done with the shipping settings.

I finally figured out how to get to 24/7 Live Chat by going through a bunch of steps that start with clicking on the Help Icon on your Seller Dashboard. "Help" takes you to "Contact Us" and then you have to read through all of the topics (most of which may not apply to your specific problem) and several screens before you can actually reach this screen:

Believe me, this was a challenge! I'm very disappointed that Etsy has made it so difficult to get help. Luckily, the problem I was encountering today got resolved without my needing to contact Etsy support. The Live Chat button needs to be reinstated to the Seller Dashboard page.

I think when the product installation page opens, the chat box appears in the lower right corner.

I was going in circles too Friday, so I finally went on the app on my phone and got someone to call me back. I know you're in England but I think it might work for you tomorrow, as it might only be Monday - Friday.
