Every time I click off of the default shipping, it glitches up to the top of the page, and won't let me change from Priority to Ground or vice versa. It did this yesterday too.
@MamaMadeThem - I'm not sure what you mean by "default shipping".
First there's the obvious, clear cache, etc. or possibly try a different browser is necessary.
But if you want to change the shipping method/class you need to go into your Shipping Profiles, select one & then click on the pencil to edit. Don't forget to hit "save".
And note that Etsy has not made the change to Ground Advantage. They still show First Class Package & Parcel Select. To be sure that Ground Advantage rates will still be shown to buyers for packages over 15.99 ounces, you need to include Parcel Select in your shipping profile options.
The same thing happened to me. I was using Chrome. I logged into Edge and I could update the USPS shipping choice. Weird...
I’ve been having the same problem. But it’s on and off and not on every order? I suppose it’s some sort of weird glitch, but I thought they would’ve worked it out by now! I Will try a different browser. They sure don’t make it easy on us!
Same for me. Buyer paid for parcel select (ground advantage) Etsy defaulted to priority and I couldn't selected the buyer paid "ground advantage" shipping. Etsy chat wasn't very helpful but did say they would report. I ended up buying label on Pirate Ship.
I have worked around this on my laptop by utilizing the TAB key, in the item weight box; tab to the next section, USPS FedEx UPS, tab to shipping speed, then use the up or down arrow key as needed to move the marker to the correct shipping option.
