Highlighting all things gifting
This year we’re going big on gifting with the launch of Gift Mode, a new and exciting shopping experience, which was featured in our first ever big game ad—we even rang the Nasdaq bell to celebrate!
We also welcomed Drew Barrymore as our honorary Chief Gifting Officer who embodies the very spirit of gifting. Check out her message for sellers here. We crossed 500K followers on our Etsy Success Instagram! Thanks for sharing your journey with us—the community you’ve helped create on Instagram is truly special. This week, we’re recognizing the amazing community of women entrepreneurs on Etsy. Tools, tests and tweaks
If something affects your shop, you will hear from us. Important updates are announced via Site Updates in the Seller Handbook and in your Shop Manager.
We also regularly test out new ideas and tools for buyers and sellers. Tests are also an opportunity for you to share your feedback directly with our team so that the tools we build are designed with your needs in mind. If you’re invited to test out a new feature, it’s because we want to hear your thoughts!
Check out this recent update you may have missed:
- On April 1, we’ll introduce a Regulatory Operating fee for sellers in Vietnam and India. We’re also increasing the existing Regulatory Operating Fee for sellers in Turkey and Spain , due to increased operating costs in these countries. We introduced Regulatory Operating Fees for sellers in certain countries in July 2021. At the time, we let sellers know that the cost of doing business in their country had increased due to regulations. This fee was introduced to help cover some of this added expense. Learn more →
