You’ll no longer need a Solutions for Small Business account with Canada Post to access these rates on Etsy. If you’ve already purchased Canada Post labels on Etsy in the past you’ll automatically start saving—there’s no action required! If it’s your first time using Canada Post, simply purchase a label through Etsy when fulfilling your order. Level 4 rates are available when you purchase labels on Etsy for all Canada Post mail classes, in addition to extra savings for certain mail classes. Check out a few examples below:
Canada Post Tracked Packet™-USA: This is the most commonly used mail class on Etsy offered by Canada Post for small and lightweight items (less than 2kg) going to the US from Canada. We continue to offer additional savings of between 20% and 40% compared to Canada Post Solutions for Small Business rates when you purchase these labels on Etsy.
Expedited Parcel™: This fast, cost-effective ground shipping option within Canada is available to Etsy sellers at Level 4 savings of up to 39% off with an average savings of 12% compared to the post office. All items can be tracked and have on-time guarantees. This service is ideal for large volume shipping.
Small Packet™ International –Air: Ideal for small and lightweight items (less than 2kg), Small Packet™ International – Air is Canada Post’s most economical service for parcels that aren’t time sensitive. With Level 4 rates, sellers can save up to 20% with an average savings of 11% compared to the post office.
If you ship your orders with Canada Post, you can use calculated shipping on Etsy. This means that shoppers will see prices based on their location and the weight and dimensions of the listing. Keep in mind that the prices shown will be based on the new Level 4 pricing that’s available if you purchase your postage on Etsy.
